Oh, I didn't advertise it, at all. As you know, I am very careful about keeping my debt secret, but I got into a conversation about 3 magazine issues for a £ and she asked where I heard about it, because she heard it from MSE :eek: She then mentioned that she reads peoples SOAs :eek: :eek: By this time I am thinking "she probably knows FAR too much about me" than I would normally like a work colleague to know.......:eek: :eek: :rotfl:

I didn't mention who I am on here, just in case she hasn't stumbled across me, but really, if she has, it will be obvious who I am, won't it!! Oh well!!

Its funny how we can share so much with virtual strangers on here but can be essentially very private people on the whole.

For what its worth though you have so much to be proud of with what you have written in this forum and nothing to be ashamed of but I still understand what you are saying.

I chat about this site even though I haven't totally come clean yet I would hate family or colleagues to suss me!!

I am ALWAYS writing moneysavingexpert.com onto little slips of paper or in e-mails whenever anyone mentions financial shortages or a forthcoming financial outlay (mortgage/loan/insurance). I never mention the forum bit, I think I'd be easy to spot too and most people don't know that we're in this much debt. One person asked if we would be mortgage free when he returned :eek: so I lied about his renumeration and exaggerated the costs of flights etc
(they believe I have to stay in this country to be of help to my aged parents and my young adult children, not that I can't afford to give up work and follow OH)

interesting posts today.....i guess part of the secret of these posts is that you are sharing with people who understand and don't judge which isn't the same with family and friends always.....don't think there is anything to be ashamed of...but if you want to stay annoymous then we need to be careful how much info we give away that could identify us...how will it work for you hypno when you go on TV...i take it you won't share you mse ID????
i am really upset i won't be in the country when your programme is on, so i am going to have to get details nearer the time of timing of the programme as well as actual date and channel....will be cheering you on!!!
:beer: as we all seem to be trying to lose weight (me too) and eating more heathily and doing DFW...have you thought about combining all this in the posts???:D
