Yes I did have a wonderful bath, with a cup of tea, a slab of choccy from christmas and a holiday brouchure:
It was th first time that the girls were allowed out without me!.Yepee
However bad news is they bumped into the father and thats not allowed when I am not about. So could mean it wont get to happen again too soon.
Meeting with Social again at 1 on friday.
Hope you had a good day, are you able to have evening to self or are you dashing off again.
Ah lights gone out. must be busy. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Hypno, I hope all is going well for you and the new job and the child free zone that is home?
These boards are moving so fast at the moment I'm still struggling to keep up. I read, but haven't posted so much this week, after a 2 week break and there are so many newbies. I suppose that's not surprising it being that time of the year.;)0 -
Mooloo could you call the Social Services bluff on Friday and say you are not prepared to house FOUR extra people in a 2 bed flat and that you are not prepared to play 'bodyguard' if they are not prepared to support you with the housing situation or financially.
Where would they put the girls then and how much would it cost?0 -
I have just done a non dfw thing and signed up to Rosemary Conley slimming online thingy for 3 months. I need to lose a good stone, preferably a stone and a half, and while that is not a huuuuuge amount to lose, I need the kick up the backside and can't face going to weightwatchers etc again.
So, healthy eating and exercise starts right now.........hot chicken and salad for dinner and my first trip to the work gym tomorrow..........watch this spaceSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hypno how has the job gone today? I have been at my new job about 3 months and I really like it but I love the feeling more of knowing the job inside and out so its getting even better with time if that makes sense.
It must be a nice feeling to have the security of knowing what you are going to have coming in financially every month again.0 -

I don't you joining a club to help with the slimming. Its so hard on your own. I only have half a stone to lose and I just cannot do it!! I feel guilty as its not much but I promise every day I will go to the gym tomorrow and it never comes
Maybe the fact that you are based full time in one place now will also help you as I know with me it is when I am at hope that is my worst time for sitting down and munching!!
Good luck0 -
My downfall is going to be the canteen at work, and not being bothered to make healthy packed lunches.
I did rosemary conley years ago after I had the kids and found it quite easy, so am hoping the same applies this time round.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
