Could you not ring work and explain what's happened?

Failing that, could you not have one quick go before you come home?

Can you tell I've never been skiing - no idea of the correct terminology :p

Oh my god hypno that's a nightmare!

If it's any consolation my sister "forgot" her passport on a family day trip to France last year- they accepted her photo driving licence (not suggesting you risk it but just saying he might get away with it).

    Oh blimey-try it Hypno.
Get him to drive down with you-and if he gets away with it get the coach or train back-if he doesn't you go. I know it's faff but it would still mean you have Saturday and Sunday at home before starting work.

So sorry to hear about the passport Hypno - Sods law it will turn up on Monday. Drive carefully and try not to get tooo stressed.
  • Awe I know worse things happen at sea but I found my self feeling a little teary reading your thread about the passport still not being found. What a complete bummer!!!
I felt sorry for you coz you had clients booked in, essay to do, job to prepare for etc etc and I also (sorry) felt sorry for your husband I bet he was so frustrated having to let you take them and he probably wanted to and now feels like he has let you all down. And really in the great scheme of things he didn't lose his passport on purpose.

The main thing is the children are getting there and that was the ultimate dream of yours and your husbands so at least that has still gone ahead.

I hope your journey passes quickly and your husband survives the bar shift.

Just popped on to check if there was any update - from the lack of Hypno posts since early this afternoon, I'm guessing the passport never turned up and you're now somewhere on the M20. Bummer.
