Well I'm hoping the silence means a Hypno lie-in.
I've had something similar happen to me in the past and after swinging from fury at the fates to despair to relief (but still furious) it's just bl**dy exhausting.
Good luck with the assignment and the bar shift but definitely throw in some relax and recouperate time this weekend

Just popped in to say glad OH's passport was found - always think these things happen for a reason - its the only way to stop me from going insane (or possibly more insane).

Hope you get the things done this weekend and are ready for work on Monday - Good Luck.

(Off now to go back for my sad lurker status)

Too late Essex-girl. It's a rule on this thread that once you've de-lurked you have to continue posting here ;)

Phew hypno, SO glad the passport turned up, and hope you will be able to laugh about the whole debacle sooner rather than later! Good luck with the essay - and the new job on Monday.

Good to know that he found it in the end. Now onto how you're going to make him suffer for it ;):);)

  • Hi Hypno, I'm so glad OH found his passport and that you'll have a chance to recharge your batteries before starting your new job. I realised 2 days before we went on holiday that DDs passport had expired. We had to go to Peterborough to get a renewal. What a nightmare! I thought those things only happened to me! xx

Nope - not just you. I found my passport was lost 24 hours before flying to Israel. And I KNEW I had pushed it under the desk for safe keeping!

Ok Im back.... must admit I do feel like a sad voyeur when I just read threads.

Just would like to say that as someone else has said I found it necessary to go and check all our passports and they are all there :j , we are going away 24th Jan so it was necessary - Im not being smug I know OH cant lose his as he has no idea where I keep it.........just need to get his debit card off of him and put it in the same place:rotfl: .Actually thats a really good idea - will wait till he's in bed tonight I think.

Hope your day is going well Hypno and is very productive - I seem to be here instead of listing a couple of things on ebay and ironing:confused:
