I woke up this morning, and wondered how Hyp was getting on :rolleyes:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

I think its because we have been reading for so long how important it has been for the children to go on this trip and how hard it has been and the sacrifices that have been made then when it should be the easy bit of getting them there the stress starts again!!!!
We are all eagerly awaiting an update from Hypno too... Do you think we need to get a life or is that just me
Ne'er a truer word spoken! (except Spud's post underneath yours, KM, thats *as* true!)
Hypno, hope you're okay, we *are* all thinking of you.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

It would be too full of passport stories:
Gave the husband his passport. Everything went well until we got to the border. The Border Guard said "I'm not removing it from there. We'd better call a doctor...""Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
"We were born and raised in a summer haze." Adele 'Someone like you.'

more or less sums it up!!
Anyway, back home after work - absolutely shattered after the last couple of days, but in a strange way!!
The children are safely at the BSA, dorms all sorted, off with their mates with a quick goodbye to OH - the children have been soooo excited about this for the last couple of weeks, I am surprised they have managed to get any sleep at all!
OH is now safely lodged in a hotel room in France for the night - he has had dinner at BSA which saved us a few pennies. Good job really, because I reckon the whole "missing passport" fiasco cost us an additional £150, by the time we factored in two trips to Folkestone, the hotel room, lost income by cancelling clients etc etc.
So, when OH comes back, he will be begging for all the overtime at work that he can possibly get to make up for it!!
Good news is that the car is fixed now, bad news is that it cost £300. Seems as though it is beans on toast for the rest of the month......:o
I am in need of a coffee, and a catch up on MSE! The essay can be done tomorrow, but now is sit down time!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
