Well I'm tired just reading about what's happened. Sleep well and if you read this before your essay is finished I'll be very, very cross! Get back to your essay now! Good luck in your new job tomorrow xxJanuary budget

Morning! I am up earlier than intended because OH called me to say he is just leaving. Great, I know I said let me know when you leave, but I didn't expect or want a call at 7.30 on a Sunday Morning on the one day I can have a lay in.....
Oh well, coffee is now made, and after two or three cups of that, I will be awake enough to get cracking on that essay.
I will prob let bingo play in the background while I am working...hope to add to my £10 a day challenge totals at the same time!
Currently watching skiing on the telly - not jealous of my kids at all. Nope, not jealous in the slightest :rolleyes:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Morning Hypno! I'm up early for a Sunday too. Even though I went to a party last night and got to bed at 2am. I was still woken at 6.30 by the DDs squabbling about the paper round. So I got up and did it with DD2.
I'm feeling really hungover and bleugh but at least I earned £2.50 this morning. I'm now going to sort out my accounts filing - I've got about three years worth of receipts and paperwork bunged into a file that I need to sort out, and I'm going to create files for each month, inspired by the wonderful and much-missed Taxi.
Good luck with the essay.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
hi Seaxwyn, I was thinking about Taxi yesterday - every time a cab passed me on the motorway! I hope she is ok, and debtbusting like crazy.
I have "earnt" £4 on bingo this morning - not much but still money that will go into my bank account that I didn't previously have.
Good luck with the accounts - I too need to get mine up to date so that I can tell the tax office I am no longer self employed because otherwise they will tax me on all my employed earnings rather than give me a tax allowance I fear, so that is an incentive to get up to date. But that is a task for next weekend I think, unless I get my essay done early on in the day, but in reality I think it will take most of the day.
Have a good day, and hope the hangover recedes soon. Obviously a good party last night!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Morning hypno. Glad everything sorted itself out reasonably successfully. Hope the OH is planning to make it up to you over the coming days, weeks, months...
Glad I'm not the only one puts essays off. The vast majority of mine (especially during my first degree when DS was just a baby or toddler) were written through the night before the deadline, then I would drive into Uni first thing next morning and drive back hoping and praying DS would have a morning nap so that I could sleep too. Never seemed to affect the mark much though, whether I put a lot or a little effort in the marks didn't seem to correlate to the time spent. Some of my best essays were written at 4am0 -
Hi choco.....needless to say I am still at the "planning" stage for this one.....
I *have* made progress, really - I am dressed and am eating a bowl of porridge!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

:hello: Well, thats progress. I was such a goodie goodie at college, I can't *tell* you how much I missed out on cos I was swotting... ah well, I made up for it at weekends. I think.
Anyway, VERY glad to hear you're one of the ones making money on the bingo wheeze. Now I've sussed it, I find it easy to do, as you say have it on in the background. I've done two, but not made any money yet - just imagine if I was using my own money, that'd be £20 I'd thrown away on watching a computer pick random numbers!!!! Doesn't bear thinking about, really.
Coffee coffee coffee:coffee: :coffee: :coffee:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hi KC, you girlie-swot, you!!
I have given myself until 10.30 - which would have been my lay in time had I had a choice in the matter, which is not unreasonable for a Sunday morning, then I will get started on some real work. I need to take myself away from the sofa, and into the dining room, set up the laptop and the printer, and just get on with it.
Then I can have a good couple of hours work before I stop for lunch, by which time I should at least know what I am going to write!! I actually got quite a bit of planning hurriedly done on Friday, when I thought I was driving all the way to France this weekend, so I have made a start........of sorts.
