Glad you're back Hypno, and good luck with the essay writing.
Please can you explain (sometime when you're not supposed to be writing the essay) how you actually win on that Bingo malarky? I've played with my free tenner but not actually won anything.
many thanks0 -
Hi Hypno, I was on the bingo sites last night and noticed someone called Hypno won! I wondered if it was you. I made £14.50 last night but made £85 last week on another site. The blummin' chat thing does my head in on them though, I have started to minimise the window as it spoils the whole thing! I am going to wait until the winnings are safely in my bank before playing again as they all seem to link to the same site and I am worried about being sussed out.Second and final LBM 01/01/11 Nearly got there but fell of wagon. HAVE to do it this time :mad:0

Yup, thats me, girlie swot! Didn't quite go with the right-on socialist thing, but those were the days.... :rotfl:
Hi Olive Oyl, I saw loads of newbies in the chat rooms asking what to do, and it sounds like its completely random - tho I wonder what the best games are to play....2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Yes, I was hypno last night. I don't *do* the chat thing though - it is bad enough having to do the bingo at all!
OO, it is just luck really, no skill involved. OH has been playing too ( ) but has not won anything. Just buy your tickets with the free money they give you and hope that your numbers come up! you don't need to do anything else until/unless you win!
I go to one of the 90 ball rooms, but they are all much the same I expect. Try to pick one that doesn't have hundreds of people playing, as there is less chance of you winning!
I might have another go later on.....but like you, squirrel, I may wait until the meagre winnings I have so far, are in my bank! Just in case!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hi Hypno :hello:
Glad you got back safely and are making inroads to your essay.
That is my next but one job to tackle!!:rotfl:
Have just spent some time getting finacnes up to date, booking on a course, printing off assessment sheets for start of new term of swimming and need to do a whole load of filing.
DH & DS did Swansea and back in the day - sorted out with Police etc about what was missing from room - gosh it was a mess - but only (!!!) television, printer and old mobile phone gone. Remote control for tele under duvet and cash that DS had emptied out his pocket was still on side with jar of mango chutney - don;t ask !!!! Site manager absolutely brilliant - DS owes him a few beers and he will be moved to a 2nd floor room in a 6 roomed flat on 25th Jan. Not going to replace TV or printer at moment - will let insurance sort it out. Uni are even replacing bedding that is completely covered in broken glass.
Right am going to try and start on filing and start my own thread to try and keep me on straight and narrow.
Have fun !:wave:0 -
Hi Surfbabe, glad that the uni are being pro-active regarding DS.
I have made a good start on the essay - just having a break for lunch. earlier than anticipated, but I have a "heavy" head (prob through lack of sleep) so needed to stop for something to eat. Regular breaks throughout the day will be needed I think. But while waiting for my lunch to cook, I did get the dishwasher done and a load of washing in, so if I can do "bits and bobs" as I go, then I will be quite happy at the end of the day.
As I say, the essay is coming along reasonably well. Certainly no reason why it won't be ready to hand in on Tuesday.
DD has just texted to say that school starts in an hour!! She wasn't complaining about having to do school on a Sunday, so that is something! Perhaps she won't be this enthusiastic this evening!!!
No word from DS - I take that on the "no news is good news" level. I assume that for 12 year old boys, texting your mum to let her know how you have settled in, is not considered cool!
Will be making a batch of lentil soup this afternoon, for lunch flasks tomorrow - I am determined not to get caught in the buying lunch in the canteen trap, so need to get organised, otherwise tomorrow morning I will not have enough time and will take money instead......not good!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. That sounds a lot better than it has been! Glad to hear your ideas about mse lunches at work, that'll be good - I bet it impresses them too. I'm in the middle of lunch, still starving, I definitely need something to eat before I brave putting the tree in the garage. Take care.xx2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Essay almost finished - have done one accompanying "spider-gram" so far, and about to start the next.
I also have to do a scheme of work (done in draft) and two lesson plans (not yet started), to accompany the essay.
so.......def getting there! When I have done that, I need to start on the lesson plans for work......I will get organised.......one day :rotfl:
The veg soup I am cooking smells divine, but is making me hungry, which is a tad distracting!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
