I think it would be reasonable for you to ask for some maintenance from the ex now if you will be having the children for a solid three weeks.

I know he is not being very cooperative at the moment with regards to maintenance, but could you not ask him for a little to help out over those weeks?

I thought that but he’ll just say he’ll have the children for more time when he’s back. I really don’t know what to do about it.
so I’ve managed to put some washing on but that’s about it, sat and watched 3 episodes of walking with dinosaurs with little ones though with a constant running commentary from Roo!

Have escaped to the lounge to watch George Clarke ugly house. Haven’t seen it before but it’s making me want to throw all of my money at the house pot. Going to do some budgets.

Ok have managed to not go shopping today will go tomorrow. Have done one load of washing and hung it up. Another is in the machine. I’ve done the litter tray, popped to the COOP for broccoli and had a lovely walk with the children. Have managed to cobble together a thank you present for SIL. May made a card and we had a bottle of champagne and some posh chocolates I’ve wrapped up that we got for Xmas. So saved some money there.

Need to do a big shop tomorrow. Going to try and get it as cheaply as possible but need things like razors and washing powder so will see how cheaply I can do it. I’d rather get a click and collect but can’t get one until Wednesday/Thursday and I can’t pay with cash. I’ll try and write up a list. Need it to last to the end of the month really.

Still haven’t put the stuff on eBay or Facebook need to do that and program but I’ll do that tonight. I need to cook dinner and hang up the washing and bath the children before then, but I’m sat watching miss marple!

Spent £63 on shopping but had up stock up on toilet roll, cat food and washing powder. More than I wanted to spend but didn’t really have a choice as was all needed. Went to Tesco and was actually quite nice wandering around.
Currently sat dying my hair. OH chopped it earlier. Let’s see if I can make it look ok..... feeling really rubbish at the moment fat, unfit old and witchy looking. Don’t know what to do with myself 😢
  • How can you possibly be unfit with all the exercise you do?! I bet you look amazing!
You just need some time for you to have a bit of self care & relax.

    We all have days...or weeks...or months 🙈🤣 like that. It’ll pass 😉

I haven’t done a lot of exercise fo for weeks actually thinking about it since lockdown 2.0. I’m used to training every day now I’m barely doing any and feel awful because of it. But I’m trying to rectify it. I trained yesterday and will try and do some more today. I managed 3 portions of veg/fruit yesterday. Not great but a start, and will try for 5 today and see how we go. I bought more frozen veg yesterday in the hope it would be easier. Managed to stay in calories yesterday too.
So plan for today. I’m teaching in 15 minutes then going to get children ready for school. Then have another class, could then do with a sleep but we’re going to go out for a walk hopefully if it stops raining. Really need some waking shoes as mine are too small and even after wild camping in them I still end up with massive blisters.
Then after the walk I’ll get the children from school then have a potential client meeting at 1600 which was moved from Friday.
Not sure what’s for dinner, very probably chicken and veg curry and rice. So that’s my day, going to need a nap at some point, or very early bed as up at 6 again tomorrow!

Wrote this at 6am but didn’t post it. Anyway. Morning!
