Think they will probably let you swap for something else but not a cash refund without a receipt.

Hey dawny, no I don’t uncortunately! And thanks JoeDenise, I will try next week.
Super tired but I’ve got work later on. I’m supposed to be meeting my friend for coffee, but stupidly when I did the budget the other day. I didn’t include any money at all for extras! So going to have to take it out of the shopping budget.... obv I could not go for coffee, but I haven’t seen this friend since February and we’re in need of a catch up.  I have been working on a tighter budget. I thought I could maybe do soups for lunch etc, but OH rats so much that he doesn’t think soup is a meal, even if I did it with HM bread 🤷🏻‍♀️. So going to have a little rethink! Trying to get it under £100 for the month, just for food not toiletries etc.
  • Probably too late now but could you meet your friend for a walk instead? That way you get exercise too!
I feel the same about soup as your OH! I just don't get it.... fills me up for all of 5 minutes

Ah thanks remote control, as it turns out it was cash only At the cafe and I had to use the cash out of OH’s wallet, so it didn’t cost my anything. niCe cheap cafe. Coffee and a scone was £3, will be my place of choice in future! And a walk would have been lovely but it’s been raining all day!

So I’m back from work, Children have been showered and OH paid for fish and chips for dinner.

Ok so just done some number crunching. I should be getting some block payments for my PTs this month. I need to try and make another £375 from somewhere If I want to put another £500 in the emergency account! I obv want to do this ASAP as who knows what’s going to happen with Covid! It should in theory be more than £375 but I’m going to get OH to pay for the shopping..... I can take some of the change from the business when I go in which will help with the shopping. And I’ve bought the Xmas budget down slightly. Sooooooo looks like I may be doing some ebaying on Sunday!!!!!!

Work shift was crazy. I am so so tired and cold, trying to warm up. Going to put a blanket on I think. Have got into a really bad habit of Flicking the heating on whenever I’m a bit chilly. I need to invest in some slippers I think, or maybe just find where my slipper socks are. As I get super cold fingers and toes in the winter.

filled the car up with fuel on the business account and got myself a bar of diary milk at the same time. I think I deserve it and it doesn’t come out of my pocket so it’s all good.

managed to see OH for 5 minutes and apparently his vision isn’t great. He thinks there’s something wrong with his eyes..... I think it’s just them healing but just as well we’re going for a check up tomorrow because he’s more than worried.

I’m going to drink my cuppa and go to sleep for a while. In the hope I manage some sort of an evening where I’m somewhat awake. I’ve got about 3-4 loads of washing that needs doing but I think I’ll do a load tonight and some more tomorrow.

ok so I have £27 in cash now in my purse. I raided OH’s change, and I have £5 in Tesco vouchers might possibly have a little more as have used the clubcard when I Got fuel too.

Sure there was more to say but I can’t remember what! Speak soon.
