Feel much better OH has apologised properly. And my friend came and bought us donuts! And another bought us coffee. Our class was for charity today so we got all dressed up all brightly and was just silly for an hour to raise money, which is always good and a humbling experience. Just sat down having 5 minutes now.

Going to try and have a sort of date night maybe tonight as it’s the first time in 2 weeks tomorrow I don’t have to get up at 6/7am. So might send OH to the shop for supplies, he’s got some Tesco vouchers he can use. Wondering what to cook.... enchiladas and nachos maybe. I’m wondering how busy Tesco is today. Is It the 1m rule from today or have I just made that up?

Need to have a tidy up and Do some washing, annoyingly I can’t dry it outside. Children need to tidy their bedroom and the playroom as they’re a big old mess.

Another thing I need to order is a white bra, I’ve got some white t-shirts but can’t wear them as I have no white bras! Will have a look online. Found 2 white t-shirts in the loft. Will see if they fit. Going to dig out some more stuff this weekend for eBay, getting a bit thin on the ground for expensive things to sell, although my GHDs are going to go as I’ve used them 4 times in about 1.5 years. There’s definitely more gym clothes to go to!

Homeschooling isn't really happening here either, don't beat yourself up about it, as others say, they are still learning.  The Lorax is a great film and it's very educational too with regards to human impact on the environment.

Well done on the ebay sales and listing!

It's still 2m where possible, but 1m if 2m isn't possible and only then with other mitigations such as a mask and not being face to face.

Hope you enjoyed your date night :)

Hey JWil thanks so much for popping in. And thank you, that makes me feel a lot better about home schooling. Date night was ok, OH cooked which was lovely but then we just slumped on the sofa and he played on his XBOX as it was too late to watch a film and he ended up going to bed at 4am. So not quite the evening I had planned. And he’s still in bed so wasting the day too 🙄.

Just on the park with the children now. Trying to keep them away from other children is proving ok at the moment. Washing is on, hoping to get a few lots washed and dried.

Not sure what we’re eating today, depends what time OH gets up.

Having a !!!!!! day. OH told me I needed to get my business up and running as his business depends on the rent I give him... was a bit of a shock as I was thinking of leaving it until Sept when the schools opened. As I’ve spent all of my time looking after his business and he’s just pretty much told me he will help but I need to get it sorted ASAP. Which is hard when I barely have time to sit down at the moment and I’m barely getting anything done. We went through members accounts and some we thought had been paying haven't for 5 months so he was not impressed by that, and I feel very stupid about it. I just feel like I’ve sat back and let my business diminish and hibernate in lockdown but kept his business afloat (as mine can’t function without his). But now I’m wrong for doing that. I know I’m just over emotional about it, and very tired. But I have no idea how I’m going to find the time for everything. I need to get my business up and running again, but the government has only hinted that we may open in a couple of weeks. But we have no idea at all on restrictions. So can’t even think about numbers or making any announcements to members. God it’s all so fricking hard! I just feel like I’m at work constantly as it is. I’ve done nothing but housework; argue about work and sit in the park whilst the children played all day, it’s now 9pm and I haven’t had dinner.

It’s now the second month of no maint from the children’s dad, I just feel like I’m flailing around and very quickly sinking! 😢 sorry just needed to offload.

Hi @missymoo81 didnt want to read and run. From your diary entries you sound like you've been working on overdrive and I really feel for you, I was beyond exhausted when I was working full time and trying to home school and the rest so don't blame you for your reluctance to start picking up the reins again.

Could you consider getting some childcare sorted even if its for a day here and there and with your partner use this time to focus some thoughts on your businesses, I also wonder if its worth getting some outside guidance too as this could be an opportunity to review business model etc.

Maybe for now some of the housework needs to be sidelined just so you get a bit of you time and a chance for rest.

@missymoo81 so sorry you had such a rubbish day, virtual hugs. It's so hard to keep on top of housework and looking after children, let alone homeschooling and running 2 businesses. The maintenance situation is awful, I appreciate your ex may have lost income but so have you and children can't live on nothing, it must be so frustrating.

I don't really have any advice as I don't know anything about business, but I really hope you have a better day today, try to take some time to eat and look after yourself.

Morning, feel slightly better today. Think I was just so overwhelmed yesterday, tired and emotional, (TMI but have had my period for over a week now and it’s making me feel pretty wrung out which doesn’t help), lockdown has been hard for everyone especially small business owners.

So plan today: put washing on in a minute so that it’s done by the time I get home. Go to work, do class, then come home via school To get work packs for the children. Come home hang washing and do school work. Tidy and clean and sit and do some work for my business. Then label up eBay stuff and take smalls on a bike ride to the post office. Then home, feed smalls then back to work for late class. Then home for dinner.

Yes, and Ive just realised I can also apply for the self employed 2nd lot of grant or oat or whatever they call it. The 70% one. It will only be about £850. But so welcome. Need to look at my budgets again later. Also need to look at meal plan for this week. It will be chilli tonight for dinner.
