The baking sounds lovely @missymoo81 and a good use of the easter eggs. We have a crazy amount of chocolate from easter too as my OH works in a department store and brought loads home as it was going out of date. No wonder the scales are not in my favour
Enjoy the wine and I hope things start to improve for you and OH. I am finding I feel quite up and down with my own worries about work and stuff but trying to remain positive for everyone but it is exhausting at times.2025 financial goals & challenges!

Yes well Suzanne, there may well be another glass had later, in fact I can bet my life on the fact there will be. But I think I’ll wait until Mays in bed!And thanks Clarissa, having people understand and empathise just really helps me feel less alone.
Can’t be bothered to do anything now. Might feed The children and put a film on with some popcorn.1 -
Sorry to hear things have been so stressful worldwide @missymoo81, I was hoping things would be looking up now you're able to open.
Good work on the baking - and for having left over Easter eggs! We had none left, even with neither of my kids eating them - no wonder I have not been doing so well with my weightMortgage December 2023: TBC

Ok, actually got a bit of a lay in this morning. OH is still in this majorly grumpy mood. We’re going to the beach later which will be lovely. Not sure if OH is going to come or not. We’ll get some lunch when we’re there as it’s all part of the treat.Have moved few bits of money around but need to see what’s what as it’s all got a little confusing with money going in and out.Not sure what we’re eating for dinner for anything like that. Should really think about it as only meat we have is in the freezer..... quite fancy bolognese actually..... will have a look if I have the ingredients. Didn’t hVe risotto yesterday as was just too tired to cook so ended up with beans on toast.1

Mmm...spaghetti! I make my own sea-food-y sauce. It's just half'n'half tomato ketchup and mayonnaise. with a tad of Tabasco and a drop of lemon juice. Mix well - done! Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!2

OH is still in this huge negative mindset. We went to the beach and he didn’t speak the whole time he just put his fingers in his ears and laid down as the children were screaming with laughter. I honestly think he has Bi Polar. I’m sat in the spare room whilst the children have a bath, they loved the beach, I did too.Really can’t be bothered to make dinner again, children have asked for plain pasta 🤷🏻♀️.2

I’m glad OH didn’t spoil the beach, it probably annoyed him that he didn’t!Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Hey everyone.
How are you all?Monday again, I don’t know where the days go! Work again today, spaghetti Bol for dinner.Need to get some more cat food today but that will come off OH’s card.Need to have a meeting about starting business, should mean I can start a month earlier than planned. So I should hopefully be £200 or so better off, this is all going to have to go into the emergency fund if I end up paying out £500+ to get mine and OH’s businesses up and running. But I could sell the equipment after, in a few months hopefully.Feeling very bleugh today, and going to be stuck at work for about 11 hours again, children in tow too. Not much I can do about it though.1
