Ah I’m not dealing very well today. There’s lots of people in work helping and I’m so grateful, but I’m struggling being around this many people, feel awful, have had to go and sit in the car. Mind you it’s quite therapeutic as it’s pouring with rain and I love the sound.
good news, I’ve sold my car! And got £700 over the lowest I’d accept, going to treat OH to a small treat as he worked so hard to get it sorted and ready.Going to sort my pots out to see how much money I have in my emergency fund. Going to count out my cash money tonight and put it in the bank Tomorrow. Will update later.
Foodwise today:
children have had toast with Roos favourite lemon curd, me and OH had scrambled egg on toast. Sandwiches and crisps and fruit and chocolate for lunch. Children have left over Chinese for dinner and we have left over stew.1 -

We didn’t have stew, we’ll have it tomorrow. But I fancied tuna pasta so I made that, and made enough for the children to have tomorrow, although I put the pasta on and promptly forgot about it as I was finishing off some work with OH, and the bottom half had well and truly burnt itself to the bottom of the pan! Fortunately most of the pasta was fine! Not sure about the pan though, I’ve left it to soak.Managed to get lots of surveys today, and up to £66 on eBay. Have seen some winter boots I’d like as my other ones are 5 years old and falling apart. I’m trying to get £115 from eBay this time, so I can spent the £15 on the boots. Fingers crossed!2

I’ll have a look in a bit. Now my numbers are out which is annoying.V tired now, OH I’d playing online with his friends. So I may fall asleep on the sofa. Just washed my hair with conditioner, I honestly think, my hair is visibly longer!1

Excellent, I do love boots! I bought some bargain ones from amazon last year...they were so cheap and comfy I got another pair in the other colour 😂
very jealous your jeans were a bit big, I’m hanging over mine at the moment...sigh!Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Ah lock down seems to have had one of two effects on people. Gain weight or lose weight. The only reason I’ve toned up as it’s my job! Do you have a diary lovely?1

If the pan is looking a bit worse for wear, put some washing powder and a bit of water in the bottom of it. Best thing for getting burned bits off.Excellent work on the car sale. Make sure you put the money to good use and don’t just see the £700 as extra!1

Oooh thanks PF, it’s a bit worse for wear! And of course you’re right. £650 is going straight into the Emergency fund, and £50 has gone on a treat for OH. I need to look at my budgets again, 1 just to check where I am with it all, as money has gone in and out, I really do need to make that spreadsheet! And I haven’t included birthdays and Christmas and a clothes budget as I was hoping to be able to just cover that with my emergency fund and keep topping that up, but it’s not going to work that way. Realistically I need another £100 a month, so I will redo all my budgets later.Have a class at 0930 but we’ll teach from home again then go into work, more painting needs doing, and there’s so much paint on the floor🙄 most of my day will be spent scrubbing it off!! Going to try and take some of the children’s school work with me to try and get them to do some. I’ll get them out on their scooters later too.
And I managed to find some boots! The £45 ones, the ones I really wanted, were reduced to £30 this morning!!!! Just need to work hard at EBay to get the extra £15! Survey wise, I signed up to the Martin Lewis deal on Swagbucks where I get £30 amazon vouchers for 1300 points, now I’ve got 1300 points but not sure how I cash out for that amount as when I go into redeem it’s just the normal £10 for 1300 points 🤷🏻♀️.1 -
I did join swagbucks a while ago, but have no idea how it works! I must revisit it 😬
Good news on the boots.
