Trying to get on with cleaning and sorting the house. It’s quite therapeutic! Hope you’re all having a good day x1

Struggling with motivation. I have so many clothes! I’ve pared them right down from before a few months ago, but I still seem to have so much, I think I could possibly get rid of 3 more pairs of leggings and another sports bra, and maybe 3 t-shirts, but then I’m worried I won’t have enough when I do finally get the business back up and running. So the spare room is much better still need to finish it though. Struggling with Swagbucks today too, not so easy to make my quota today which is annoying, still I’ve got the rest Of the day. Found some more things to eBay which is good. Going to hopefully spend some time sorting out my spreadsheet later. Just a bit bleugh right now. Going to drink a cuppa and eat some crisps and hopefully find my motivation!2

Ok spare room is more or less sorted, everything is in its place if not folded. I’ve just found some v expensive Clip in hair extensions I used once. They’re getting listed on eBay tomorrow! Along with 9 other things if I can find that many!I’ve just done the meal plan for the next week or so, as getting shopping on Tuesday then the following Thursday so need to make a plan, so here it is in no particular order
Sunday - beef stew
Monday - beef stew
Lemon grass curry
Sausage and mash
Fish pie
Fish pie
Chilli
Chilli
Fajitas - cooked chicken
Butternut curry
Chicken pie
Chicken pie
Pizza and wedges
Trying to get the shopping in at £53. To help this I managed to get a load of reduced bananas last week, some were too far gone to use but 2/3s have gone in the freezer for smoothies. Which will do for breakfasts for me.

Hi Missymoo I sell on Ebay too and was wondering whether you use the commercial postboxes which means I dont go to the PO. Ours is very near my home which makes posting items easier.1

Hey JanB5, no I don’t, but the post office is only a walk away, it’s more just fitting it in to my day to be honest! Have definitely found some decent stuff to sell, so fingers crossed on another £100! Will list all tomorrow. We have fish pie for dinner tonight as OH picked some up in his way back, comes out of his budget not mine so all good! Sat with my budgets again, it is hard to keep track on my paper notebook, OH what’s to be on his Xbox later so I will probably type it up then. If all payments come in, I should have £1000 in my emergency fund! Will look at building up a second fund just for every day things Like clothing etc. Will keep you posted when and if all the money comes in! Just had dinner and now chilling on the sofa watching middle class murders (midsomer), much to OH’s disgust 😁 Might treat myself to a beer!1

Ok, so need to spend another £45 on Roos school uniform but £7.50 of that I can use from Clubcard vouchers. I think in future years, I’ll just save up my Clubcard vouchers especially for school uniform and Christmas food and try and stick to my food budget at other times as much as possible. Since getting my new card and key fobs it’s me at I haven’t missed fuel stops or the odd shop as it’s on both car keys! Along with CC points I’m also planning on saving up all My Swagbucks points Over the coming months for amazon vouchers to buy Xmas presents. So think I’ve got my food order under control this week. It’s lower than normal At £53 as managed to overspend last week Or was it the week before..... I’m aiming in future foR £66 per week, I’m hoping this is doable ALthough it’s to include all toiletries and cat food, but we shall see. I’m going to be making protein, oat, banana smoothies for my breakfast, overnight oats for OH, and porridge for the children. Lunches will be sandwiches and crisps and cheap chocolate biscuits. I need to make some snacks. Definite banana bread and banana chocolate muffins need to be made with my glut of bananas and left over Easter eggs. Just found some old smarties so going to use those for smartie cookies which are super tasty, ooh and jam thumb buns! Rice pudding is also an option too I guess to fill up tummies! Just thinking out loud really, sorry for my ramblings.4

Don't apologise for your ramblings! It's your diary and you can write whatever you want. I think writing things out helps to unjumble our thoughts so it's actually a good idea to get our thoughts down on paper (or laptop in this case).
It's a good idea to have a plan for your earnings on Swagbucks and for your Tesco vouchers, although you might be better with the vouchers to use them for other things where you get triple value from them, eg travel vouchers, eating out. I always use mine for Eurotunnel trips for our holiday to France.

Morning. How are you all? Just drinking a cuppa whilst watching the Gilmore girls (guilty pleasures). Off to the park to help one of our adaptive clients (friend) today. Then possibly some lunch as they’ve travelled a long way. I could do with doing some washing, and I absolutely need to list the eBay stuff! I need to sort the children’s bedroom as there are clothes everywhere, and the playroom as there’s Lego everywhere! I need to do that before Tuesday when the children get back.I ordered my t-shirts, I got 3 for £18 delivered. They’re coming next week, weirdly I feel very guilty about buying them..... I need them as I literally don’t have any unworkrelated ones. I will need some jeans but that can wait until I can happily go to primark.Me and OH have been talking about when the house is finally ours and what we would change. It’s 4 bedroom but Roo and May share right now and I have the spare room, as all of my clothes are in there as our bedroom isn’t big enough For 2 wardrobes, and I get ready in there as to not wake up OH. And the third bedroom is the tiny office which OH works in. So May and Roo won’t share for ever, so maybe in 2-3 years time they’ll need to be in Different rooms. So May needs to have the spare room but where would I get ready and where would all of my stuff go, there is literally no room in the office so we’ve been thinking how we can make The house work. So we’re going to board out the loft and make that OH’s office and I can have the Old office for all my stuff. Obv this is for the future as we can’t afford it until we’ve actually stopped paying back the deposit!
Rambling again! Sorry.1 -
Just a thought, but could you make the bigger spare room an office + wardrobe room and then move a child into the little room? Or declutter both your clothes til they fit in one wardrobe? Re getting ready, my husband doesn’t like to wake me by getting dressed when he gets up so he just leaves his clothes in the hallway the night before and gets ready in the bathroom.Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

Hey bluegreen, I would love to put May into the box room but it’s Barely big enough for a bed let alone a wardrobe etc. And both wardrobes are rammed, as we have to have so many work and workout clothes. Boarding out the loft OH could do as he’s half done it already for storage. It’s just for future thinking but it’s great that we’d have the option to do it when the house is ours.Home and knackered, I’m not used to being around people and quite frankly I can’t take too much of it and just prefer my own little bubble! Washing is on, I’ll hang it out shortly. Then after a little nap I’ll sort the fridge and list my eBay stuff. Just want to chill today, but will try and get the children’s rooms sorted. Need to clean the bathrooms too. Hope you’re all having a good Sunday, haven’t spent any money today. Ordered a new phone protector 2 days ago which is here. Took that out of the eBay money. It was less than £2 so happy with that.2
