Ok, so just ate a massive frog (just did something I have been putting off for no apparent reason for approx a year!) Just sent the £200 invoice off, just grabbed the laptop and got it done! Hopefully They will still pay it as it’s so old but I’ve included that in my budget so fingers crossed! My budget is written out on so many pieces of paper in my notebook with about a million variations, I could do with it being on a spread sheet, but again another frog to deal with...... I don’t know why I worry so much about stuff!

    Great you’ve done it now!!

I’ve recently redone a spreadsheet and definitely makes everything a lot easier.

Good you’ve got it on paper and sounds like you’re still on top of everything!

Well today has been v, v busy again, dropped the children off to their dads for 4 days though. So it has been a little easier. Just sat down after work and dinner. Despite being super tired and OH being on his soapbox all day. I have had a good day, for a couple of reasons. Spoke to landlord who is going to let us pay less rent again which I wasn’t expecting so that’s £150 I’m going to put in the EMergency fund. HVe hopefully sold car, a garage 140 miles away wants it. They will pick it up on a Thursday but they should have transferred the money by now and haven’t. So not sure that’s a Goer, but hopefully And if so it’s £500 more then I budgeted so that can go over too. Also made £176 on my eBay!!!!
    I’m so hot and grumpy!

I'd be very surprised if a garage would transfer money over without actually seeing your car.  They invariably want to give you less than they've said prior to seeing it!  If they want it I think it will be they will come and look at it and then decide how much they think it's worth and then transfer the money that day.  Just don't let the car go until that money is in your bank account - check you're account.  It should go in almost instantaneously but can take up to 2 hours but I've never known anything take that long.

Thanks JanB5, I’m super happy about the eBay sales. Thank you JoeDenise, I know, OH dealt with it all. I’m letting the car go for a lot less than it’s listed for as it has no insurance there’s no room on the drive I’ve had no calls etc etc, and we took videos and photos of it. I’m hoping it’s legit but I obv won’t let the car go without the money being there. I’ll know by next Thursday.

    Morning!!
Today I am only working the morning class, someone is taking the evening one for us, which is very rare. We're going to brother in laws as OH is going to help him put a shed up. I absolutely need to post EBAY things today. Also need to change some money around so that it is in the right pots. Really need to put some cash in the bank, but think that will have to wait until Tuesday.

Have some amazing news. when I spoke to the wonderful landlord yesterday, he said that we could buy the house in 2-3 years time! This is the best news ever! Our house is perfect, just big enough, garage and right outside the park for the children! Now all of my plans and workings out I've done to be able to have all of the deposit back in 2 years, which is such a big incentive to keep this up! I know it all depends on house prices and if we can get a mortgage etc. The mortgage may be the difficult thing as we are both self employed but it just means over the next 2 years we're going to have to find extra ways to make money to show the bank we can do it! I love a challenge and this is the best yet!!!

Eeeek didn't realise the time! Need to get ready for work!

That’s great news about the house. What an incentive for you.

Just been reading your diary 🙂 that’s great news for you on the house! I hope you can get your businesses open soon and all your planning works out to be able to have your deposit in place in 2-3 years.

Your eating situation sounds tricky with all eating at different times etc - that must be challenging! I would probably go down the route of sticking things in the slow cooker a lot, then everyone can just have theirs dished up when ready for it.

You do so well with all your eBay. I’ve always just donated stuff as find selling such a hassle but you seem to make good money 🙂

Thanks Purps, and hey BlueGreen, thanks so much for popping by. eBay has been great this time. I don’t usually get as much, I try and list around 10 things, then I’ll hopefully make £30, which makes it seem more worthwhile. I still give things to the charity shop if they’re not really worth selling.

So ended up spending all afternoon and evening at BIL’s. OH was helping him build a shed but BIL got heatstroke so I stepped in to help. Have just got home. They fed us which was nice and send us home with a doggy bag. I’ve managed to do some surveys, some washing and package up the eBay stuff. Will post tomorrow. Going to try and sort some stuff and lost some more eBay stuff over the weekend.
