Thanks lovely!
ah wrote a big long post but didn’t press post and lost it!
had a lovely time this morning. Me and the children went to the park then realised there was a garage sale in the village. So me and the children had a wonderful time walking around in the sunshine, I spent £10 but got the children some lovely things and even some clothes and books.Spent a fortune on food shopping but OH paid, it came to £76 but I got my shampoo and conditioner which was on offer and 1.6kg of chicken and some beer for when we went to BILs.
Had the best time at BILs today. Although the weather changed, but we spent some happy hours in the hot tub in the rain. The children loved it. With the smell of the Chimnea burning wood and food made for us, it was lovely.
Going to try and get my eating under control next week. I’ve had a productive evening, I’ve done the children’s lunches and made banana bread.7 -
Sitting in a hot tub in the rain is awesome. My sister and dad paid for us all to go away on holiday together for my 30th and I ended up sitting with my sister in the hot tub in a downpour and it was brilliant.
Such good news about the mortgage- Congratulations!Bottom line;

Up super early for work, haven’t done a class from home this early in a long time. I’m not going to lie, getting out of bed was a struggle! Currently drinking tea sitting with the patio door open breathing in the fresh air. It’s going to be another hot one. Am going to see OH at work for most of the morning. Then home for a couple of hours before the school run. Just time for a quick sun bathe and lunch in the garden I’d imagine 😁.1

Hey so sorry for being MIA, have been dealing with a lot. Still waiting on the house, everything should be done by friday so we make the stamp duty holiday, but I still worry something could go wrong!
OH has been up and down and not really dealing with life very well. Fathers day was a struggle as he has no family apart from his brother and i dented his car and the cat ruined his £500 jacket, his course isn't going well and he keeps failing. It's just been a really rough couple of weeks, ex is still away so I've had the children since the third week in May, which is lovely, but very full on. I've been struggling to cope to be honest, and I honestly think OH has bi polar, but he point blank refuses to talk to anyone about it!
I've been rubbish with money and food shopping, so not sure how I'm going to pay my tax bill, but will look into that more when I feel able.
But enough of all the bad stuff, good stuff is, we've just signed all of the documentation for the house sale, so the solicitor will have it tomorrow. I've managed to order all of the school uniform for the new school year including a coat for Roo, (second hand from Ebay), May's was given to us a while back so its just been waiting for it to fit! So very happy with that. I have started to have huge sort outs, The kitchen is almost done, and I even cleaned behind the fridge, which was utterly rank! I sorted all of the cupboards, but I still need to do under the washing machine and dishwasher and the dreaded oven. I got rid of a lot of stuff, and its made the space seem bigger.
Today I started in the spare room, unfortunately its the place i put everything that doesn't have a home! It's taken me all day but its looking better. I put all of my clothes away and sorted them out, and the same with the children's. I also managed to go through all of the hand me down clothes for May and put them in her wardrobe. She's so sweet, she's obsessed with her 'new' pyjamas. I have so much more to sort. But I have this real urge to make everything more streamlined, have less stuff and make the house nice now its hopefully going to be ours!
Hope you're all ok, I need to catch up on diaries.
Much love x

You have been so busy! The house must be gleaming….no one cleans behind fridges and washers , etc. We just look really embarrassed if they break and get pulled out 🤣
I used to love a bag of hand me down clothes when I was little, it was so exciting getting lots of new clothes all at once. The only other new clothes we got in a bunch was the uniform every year and if you broke it you made do until the next year. I remember choosing a winter coat for fashion reasons one year and discovering the wind blew straight through it..that was a very cold winter 😖Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

My dd loves it when we get a bag of hand me downs. All those new clothes. When she was younger she received preloved clothes from 3 different families so she had a good selection to choose from and to make each outfit her own.
Once she has outgrown the clothes we pass them to her cousins, saving us a fortune and the clothes from landfill.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Loving the second hand clothes stories, I’m so grateful for the hand me downs, We don’t get any for Roo unfortunately, I need to top his winter clothes up. I think we can manage for the summer. I’m going to cut 2 more pairs of his jeans into shorts.Well I’ve got an hour before I need to go to work, I’ve just hung the washing up, now to sort the under bed area of the children’s bedroom!3

You can buy bundles of kids of kids clothes quite cheap on eBay, I didn’t have anyone to hand my DS clothes to so used to sell as a bundle on there, much less hassle than listing / posting individually.Sealed pot challenge 822
