newbies thread says I will probably get a court claim, never been to court before,
Nor have (almost) any new posters, but we've helped achieve a 99% reported outcomes win rate since 2017.  You will be OK.  You can do this.

They have 6 years to start a court claim but VCS will crack on.  Read other court claims threads and Google 'court claim N1 form' and look at a picture of one.  It comes from Northampton CCBC but gets allocated to the local court you choose.  And we win!

Your questions above are answered in the newbies tgread at the top of the index, or by using a search engine.

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and has been known to get the charge cancelled.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully, when life gets back to normal, it will become impossible for those scammers who are left to continue their vile trade, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

    *Update*
Received the claim form today from CCBC.
I have downloaded the template defence and will edit it this weekend, also downloaded the 7 page southampton court judgement to add to it.
looking through the newbies thread I see I can send AoS online and then send my defence at a later date, is there any reason why I should wait and not just get it fired off?
Also Is there anything other than the southampton judgement I should attach or will that 1 case suffice?
    Thanks

No.  You will see from the NEWBIES thread when to submit your other evidence (much later).

......... but if you post the exact issue date, @KeithP will give you the details of when to submit the AoS and then the deadline date for your defence.

    You gain nothing  by rushing
    Dont miss the deadlines
No prizes for submitting early. Given this is your one and only shot at a defence, rishing it would be a bad, bad, bad idea.
