Morning all.
Very early start at work, as much to do, and have a deadline, so not much to say. Apart from work all I will do today is make a meal for this evening. Banking checked. On a happy note, just discovered that my car insurance claim from December has been closed and the other party has finally accepted fault. I think what did the trick was that I had asked for court proceedings to be initiated as I knew I was not at fault and had lots of evidence to support my view. So a very happy start to the day. Morning folks!
I had a really early night last night to try and make up for the slightly weird one the night before. Was def asleep by 10 and woek at 6. Now if I can keep that pattern going, I'll be set for my return to work!
Oooof started typing and the phone rang... now where was I?
Yes... not feeling quite in the groove today. I think I'm getting a bit nervous about starting work. Best to write an mse list!B/L/D from stores. OH ordered pizza last night. Despite the fact that we were not going to be ordering in general, he's wanting a takeaway about once a week at the moment. I think it's cos we're obviously not doing anything else. I didn't really fancy it so just nibbled a couple of slices. - done
Reusable sanitary protection - done
Poss go to the allotment if OH fancies it - done
Bit of housework - nope!
Check PMP. I always forget to write this one but I do it every day. Haven't won yet. - done
Try to shake off weird limbo feeling.
Have a good one all

Morning everyone,
Not much going on here today except for a day full of online meetings. I think someone mentioned it in last weeks thread (sorry, brain to tired to remember who), but I find these really difficult. My eyes are like slits by the end! Think I'll try and convert some of them to phone calls.
- check pmp and do some surveys
- reconcile banking (don't do this on the weekends as try and take a screen break)
- water plants and veg
- enjoy my outdoor furniture that DH made for £0.
Hope everyone has a good day!

Plans for today:Check bank accounts
Dry duvet outside, that we washed in the bath yesterday
Home educated the children
B/L/D from stores
Keep freezer inventory up to date
Wash hair with the shampoo bar
Let my hair dry naturally
Make a batch of porridge
Make a loaf of bread
Use UHT milk to delay going to the shops for a few more days as the only things on the list are fresh milk and pears
In more worrying news this morning I must have been possessed by something as I dusted the bedroom.
In happier news, just over a week ago the printer I use (free as cast off from an office, with lots of free ink as it didn't work with their new set up), we have had it at least 3 years, decided to stop working. I tried the usual turn it off and on again, checked all the cables were in properly, OH decided it needed new ink (still using the supply that came with it) so ink cartridge was changed, still nothing, so I turned it off and ignored it. I turned it on this morning and it is working as normalI use this printer a lot mainly to print out Home Education resources, so I am glad it is back with us. Luckily over the last 10 years, I am mainly 6 to 10 weeks ahead with all my planned printing so it hasn't caused any disruptions to the children's education.
I'm sitting here enjoying looking at the iris' in the garden.

Very good couple of hours work at the allotment. Feeling much perkier for it. Off for an evening walk nowLBM 11/06/2010: DFD 30/04/2013Total repaid: £10,490.313 -
Afternoon allNot much done here today as I woke up early with a headache, walked the dog as usual, had some cereal and went back to bed. Still felt a bit rough when I got up, so took some paracetamol. Feeling better now, though still a bit fragile. I did however:Check banks and update spreadsheetGot an Icyland delivery slot for Thursday - these are easy to come by now, I could have chosen a next day one. I will cancel Sunday's As*a one, and free up the slot for someone else, as the couple of things that Iceland don't have can wait a bit.Watered gardenFound some new potatoes ready in the garden
This was a volunteer root, a small potato that had been missed last year and came up in the middle of the broad beans. My slovenly 'wild' gardening does pay off sometimes lol. It had got big, so I carefully dug it out with a trowel. New potatoes for dinner, and some left over for potato salad tomorrow. Cooked them with mint from the garden. Also picked some radishes, spring onions, salad leaves and alpine strawberries, which I will add to tonight's fruit salad dessert.
Hoping for a more productive day tomorrow!4 -
Morning all. @DawnW I hope you are feeling better. Not much planned as work is super busy this week.

@DawnW I hope you feel better. We also have 4-5 free potato plants at the allotment that we missed when we dug out the old potato bed!
A few things to do today. I have to go to my old company office to pick up my things. Plus, OH and I had such a good time at the allotment yesterday, we're going back this morning for another stint before it gets too hot.
