Afternoon
Just having my lunch break, I went back and did the other levels in the bathrooms this morning, I also quickly put the cordless vac around the lounge and one flight of stairs, only took 5 mins and lovely to do while the house was cool.
I did a second wash load of the fleecy blanket that I share / fight with the cats over on chilly evenings, that’s on the line now as well and will be folded and tucked away once dry.
Lunch dishes done, kitchen wiped over, I’m off back to work... I will take some things up with me that don’t live downstairs!Take care all x7 -
2x WM1 load out .. going to do the other 2 shortly.
Loo glossed... it looks wonderful.. or at least I like it. i can't order tiles until Friday but they are on my list and £18 total! I need flooring too but that can wait and I will get that alongside the living room carpet and both can be fitted together.. and the bathroom too.
Dw x2 done.. OH did those.
Boog 'tidied' the front room.. so I will actualy tidy it in a minute..
OH did litter trays.. we need more litter but have no money for a few days.
Girls are outside planting the 16 plants we bought a few days ago.. they can get some school work done after that and I am thinking of bossing them to write letters for Granny.. grannies like hand written letters right?LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)8 -
Good afternoon!
After yesterday's frenzied activity I have done very little today! It doesn't help that DH came home with the hump. I asked about the kayak - he said he needs to test it to see if it can be mended, but hasn't had time (he was off all of last week!), so he had left it in the corner of the summerhouse 'out of the way'! I told him I had spent the day sorting the SH and he just looked at the open door and pulled a face 🤬 I think I may be laying a new patio soon! 😂
Today I have done WM x2 and hung out, s&s the kitchen and put on a chilli for dinner tonight. I have also munched a frog and sent a letter by email to all of my childminding parents to ask if they are sending their kids back to me in june! I have had one reply, for an SEN boy - she is continuing to isolate until September and will not be sending her elder child to school either. Nothing from the others! I will send out reminders tomorrow!
I really need to do something practical now as I am in danger of falling into a funk!

Progress....the curtain track has been cleaned, the broken hook things removed from the track and curtains back up!
8 items flung from gibble I pulled out on Sunday......nail care stuff sorted and dried up varnish bottles now part of the fling boogie and rehomed underbed.
Photographed EITHER printer ink or tattoo ink and set to DD2 to confirm it's function but it's finding its own way towards the fling bag!
I will check back in again shortly
Baby steps todayThe cold never bothered me anyway8 -
EveningYou can all uncross your fingers and toes. xxI have keys, I am renting the house, while I buy it, so we are in to clean and sort, it has been rented out for years and sadly it shows, but it is sound in lovely area, backs on to a field, has a grass garden currently. So today I have had 2 sets of decorators round for quotes, plus a plumber who did some work for me, and is also quoting for the bathroom.Have remove numerous screws / nails / raw plugs etc from the walls, painted with concrete paint the garage floor, once I had swept it twice, found loads of flinage from what is an empty house......................... but it will be mine so I really don't care.Best of all, the nest box on the side of the garage has blue tits in it, parents busy flying in and out feeding just wonder to watch. So will be boring you all with plans and doings as they occur, and I get my cat back after 10 weeks or so on Saturday !!You ladies have been so busy doing things please make sure you make time for your selves.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Jimali I have a 21 year old with a history of physical and mental health problems. We have had times when he has refused to take medication or follow medical advice. It's really tough and I feel for you, letting them make their own decisions about this is not easy x
Good luck for tomorrow asb, hope it all goes well.
Early start yesterday and today, wide awake at 4.30am yesterday and had hoovered by 7.30am this morning. Had to have a little nap this afternoon, struggling to motivate myself to do 7 hours work every day at home but it could be worse. Managed yoga and weights class today as well which is good.
Had to go to hospital to pick up medication for DS yesterday, I rang up first but no-one could find it so I had to sit in a narrow boiling hot corridor wearing a mask with loads of patients and staff milling about. Thought I was going to have a full on panic attack.10
