I have been busy - but not in the summerhouse. I decided to do the allotment first and have put in a few hours there. It is very much like Mademoiselle has described. I have been dot-to-dotting! The bits that are done have all been weeded, strawberries picked, beans, peas, carrots & parsnips planted/sown and water sloshed about. The meadow (as it will now be referred to 😂) can wait another day! Wood chips were delivered just as I was leaving, so that may be tomorrow's job.
I am home now, and had lunch in the tidy half of the SH, contemplating the other half! I feel I should take a 'before' photo to spur me on......

Can't wait to see the after photo Good Intentions
I've been busy doing lists. DH has decided to turn half of the garden into an allotment but with raised beds. We had an allotment years ago but it was half an hours drive away which meant we ended up giving it up. Looking forward to having one a bit closer.
Hope everyone is having a good a week as possible xx

ooh GI.. a fish tank I could have done with that... and my grandson would love that little tikes car carrier.. lol..
IONA.. package arrived thank you, it is perfect for Grandcrew! .. return one is ready to post tomorrow.. I have £1.33 in bank
I have added more bits to the Tali bag (sisters friend), half a binbag, and another half bag in the bin, found more bits for DD1's house and a few more ebay bits.. I MUST pay the fees tomorrow so I can list more I will get more in sales than what I owe them so it will be fine
I have distressed DS2 by insisting he gives me his bedding AND his dressing gown to wash.. he has severe sensory issues .. we also discussed decorating his room... may as well crack on while sat at home doing nothing.. I might even have him do some of it himself.. he is definitely stripping wallpaper.. I am NOT doing that! I am having the girls strip the hallway once the paper gets here.. I will paper as they strip. I am looking for a duckegg blue gloss/eggshell.. silk lightest grey 10L and 5L of grey gloss.
OH has been bossed to fit a door on the big girls room so that is his job for tomorrow.
Food parcel delivered by school so we have food for a few more days... We desperately need fruit and potatoes and salad.. and ham.. and loo roll..
I have still not tidied the front room.
I am on day 5 of headache it is totally hormonal but is also totally annoying!
Dinner scoffed so I am going to do a line shuffle in the garden and dessert the girls..
and it is my wedding anniversary tomorrow!!

I made some progress, but not enough for an 'after' photo yet! I did start a bit late in the day! Most of the shelves have been cleared, cleaned and sorted. I have 2 pink sacks so far, and a FP lil people train set to go, and also some ancient wooden puzzles. And I haven't even got to the corner yet. I can see some more stuff going before I'm finished 😊 I am going to see if any of my childminding friends want any of it first, and hopefully the cs will be open soon! Sorry Pigpen, the car transporter is popular here! 😁 And DS won't let me get rid of the fish tank!
It has all been packed away again now, dinner cooked & eaten. Clap for carers done - I think that was the last one here. I think I will put my feet up and watch Killing Eve. Have a good evening all! ASB I hope you are feeling okay.7 -
Welcome home, asb. Hope you feel better in the morning xx
Gosh GI, the after photo will be amazing! We'll send in the SAS if we don't hear from you
Thank you very much Fayolle for the package. The colours are just rightI am about to message you
Pigpen, you are not to post the envelope to me until you have *more* than enough money in the bank, please. I do not want to responsible for you all starving to death, and postage rates appear to have gone through the roof recently, even for squidgy packets that could easily be squeezed through a letterbox! I'm very glad the aran will suit your DGC and keep you occupied for a few hours.
The washing is all dry but now I have got a pile of ironingI'll do it while I'm watching Marigold.
My grocery order came just before lunchtime and I have forgotten to phone the shop and pay my bill. There will be a black mark against my name on their delivery list!!! Must do it first thing in the morning...
Late this afternoon I came out of our back gate with Rosie, to take her for her walk, and bumped into my old NDNs from 40 years back, taking their daily exercise. I've only seen them a couple of times since returning to this area. They still live in the same house, but I've moved 5 times, 4 of which were a good distance away We had a lengthy catch up on all the family news - our children spent their pre- and primary school years together. Lovely to see them, but I was struck by how much we've all aged.
Still got gardening to do tomorrow, which promises to be another scorcher. I gave the plants a good soaking this evening. My veg in trug buckets are growing well7 -
GI wow, good luck with that!Garage floor painted with some expensive concrete paint, but it should keep the dust downOutside of windows clean they were yuk, the water when I finished was yuk and I to change it several times and there aren't that many windows, got the inside to go next.Fed up with paying out money for storage etc so over the previous week I have given notice to all of them, tomorrow it is clear out of a 20foot container, cousin and van will be at the ready, plus they will bring my pots of plants over as they have been in their garden.Had a pair of Jay's in the garden today, and a very tame blackbird who want to help with my lunchtime sandwich!Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Oh my, GI! Are you sure that you haven’t snuck into my boxroom to take that photo?? That room is piled high to the ceiling, so if you are looking for a job when you’ve finished that one....
Kaz - that sounds like a bit of a flylady project that you’ve taken on there.
I’ve been pretty productive this afternoon, to make up for the slothness earlier in the week. Dusted and vacc’d pretty much everywhere, although the DR and the utility room will have to wait until DH isn’t constantly on the phone. In fact maybe he can do them tomorrow afternoon, when he finishes at lunchtime 😉. Kitchen and ensuite floors have been mopped, pots and selected bits of the allotment watered. I made a new-to-me chickpea and veggie sc tagine thingy, which was pretty good, and it all went. Kitchen tidied, WULTD, and now I’m going to flop with a cuppa and catch up with sewing bee.Ooohh and I painted my toe nails a shocking pink while waiting for my hair to dry off a bit before trying to tame it.6 -
Inspired by your efforts Ionafan,I washed my cushion covers, but when I was hanging them on the line I thought they looked small.I then saw a label that said "Dry clean only".Silly Busy Granny!
