Natty, I hope that by now you have rung 111 or at least the chemo ward for advice - even if your DH is showering and shaving. The fact that he can't walk properly would suggest that he is not well xx
Glad to see you're on the mend, asb x
Happy anniversary to Mr and Mrs Pigpen xx
Mademoiselle, enjoy your hard-won freedom and especially seeing your DD again x
I have been out in the garden for an hour and a bit before breakfast, and have done half the lawn edging - too hot to do more right now, though it was chilly earlier, with a cool breeze and welcome shade!
I have various phonecalls to make, emails to send, yogurt to start, scones and birthday cake for DS2 to bake, seedlings to plant out, a huge pot of hellebores to empty out in order to have somewhere to plant the pelargoniums (the hellebores will be replanted in the back border), and a nurse doll to finish off, so must crack on. Might even do some hoovering9 -
Morning lovelies,
Get well and positive vibes to all those needing them.
Can't remember what I did yesterday but I know I did do stuff....not the bathrooms though! Need to get a grip and just get on with them! I did polish off a bottle of wine and a few cans of larger last night at our weekly neighborhood garden quiz night may be that's why my memory is foggy
This morning I have WULTD, WM on, kitchen S&S and now I am half way through my living room as it is out of hand. Want to hoover through downstairs after and then peg out....that might be it for today as I haven't cross stitched for a few days an want to start a new project.

Good morning!
I am up, dressed & breakfasted. WM is on. Friday money juggle done. I have re-homed 2 large(ish) troughs to the ladies over the road, and put a load of broken crocks in a rubble bag ready for the tip run.
Round 1
Dead head sweet peas
Hang out washing
Empty summerhouse
Natty I hope you can sort out DH - maybe a swift kick up the backside? As others have said, maybe phone someone for advice.
Pigpen happy anniversary!

Morning.....skulking back in again.
Happy anniversary pigpen. Natty i feel your frustration, fingers crossed things take a sensible upturn very soon.
I finally managed to get my bed assembled yesterday afternoon....it was a long butt job.
Mattress hoovered, flipped and turned with help of the young Skints, and hoovered again. Loose threads cut and bobbles removed with a razor from mattress and protector. Sprayed mattress, mattress protector, quilted pillow protectors with diluted Zoflora and allowed to dry. Hoovered bed frame and used paintbrush to click out stray fluff from DFF 1 to 5 from the corners. Used elbow grease on stray tea/coffee spots on bedside chest of drawers and surfaces of the bed (I have what the big Skints refer to as a Frankenstein bed, or Franken-bed for short. Kitchen units arranged to make a king-size bed platform complete with 2 metres of hanging rail space, 2 metres of shelf space, 1 metre of open and a 2 metre cavity long cavity wide enough for suitcases). So it was a very long butt job.
I ruthlessly examined all the bedding that matches my bed...3 pillow cases, and 2 pillows consigned to Charity Shop rag bag and one box valance sheet put in for donation (it annoys me intensely as I have a deep mattress and it's like a military campaign to stretch it on, but the top corners always ping off as soon as human or cat jumps on the bed). Spot checked walls for stray marks and cleaned window sill. Spare bedding now put in empty suitcase under bed to free up an extra drawer for foldable clothes. Removed gibble from 7 flat surfaces and polished them again (this was done earlier in the week when I was missing in action..i had moved them away from walls, hoovered, stain treated carpet for make up and other miscellaneous marks including blue felt tip and dig a fling boogie from every drawer and shuffled them to make access to windows easier). Stood on bed and removed stray paint splatters from light fitting and dusted bulbs.
Finally bed was made up to the approval of DFF 1,2,4 and 5 who all appeared from nowhere to put their scent and dander over it and stayed there while I trotted off to the dump with my recycling and rubbish.
Came back and accidentally ran a cold bath, so while I waited for water to recharge, degibbled 4 bathroom drawers, 2 bathroom cabinets and 6 plastic baskets..... then I decided it was time to empty and clean them out completely before putting it all back neatly. Decluttered a big fat bath bomb, so felt more human afterwards.
Made a start on kitchen. Cooker top scrubbed, DW loaded, sink taps, drainer and splash back scrubbed and polished. Bins emptied and cleaned floor swept. DS came in to help finish off to "make it beautiful" he cleaned all the kitchen doors and handles, small appliances, work surfaces and oven doors.
Mopping still needs to be done today and I have a mountain of clean clothes to be ruthless with or put away....and then tackle room of doom to get more stuff gone........but I am currently revisiting my childhood listening to Jeff Wayne's War of the World's on Spotify. It's been about 40 years since the original vinyl got so badly scratched that it was consigned to the bin.
So I promise, I will finish this and then I will get some work on the clothesThe cold never bothered me anyway6 -
Round 1 not completed - the WM hasn't finished yet! But the SH is empty!! I just need to clean it and put it all back 😭 Hopefully not all of it! DD2 is sorting through a big box of dolls - I think she is having a little play 😂 (she is 25!)

Friend came for coffee so I made scones, lovely couple of hours spent fixing the world whils sat in the garden. It's now too hot. She then dropped me at the garage so DD1's car picked up and repair wasn't as bad as I thought. My friend's first comment was how tidy everywhere was so I felt quite chuffed.
DW on
WM on
WU done immediately after baking and all ingredients put away and surfaces wiped down.
Lunch and then to the supermarket we're out of salad stuff and veg.

Happy Anniversary Pigpen and Mr. Pigpen.
I have ironed ALL the pile; maidenful and some on hangers - now in my bedroom in front of the window. Stripped DS's bed;left to air, duvet cover, pillowcases and some similar coloured items in WM. (Not switched on yet) Vacuumed up the stairs as far as I could reach . need to vacuum the top 4 now. WULTD has now been (mostly) dried and put away. Washed the cat's dishes and forks. Plan emailed to boss and colleague.
Orange calippo-type lolly ice consumed (was reward/incentive for the ironing) in the garden - but in the shade.
