Natty I rang 111 about DS several times before he was diagnosed. Every time they were great, they can also book appointments with emergency doctors and send an ambulance. I once cried on the phone to them I was so scared, and they were just brilliant. Its frightening seeing someone you love very poorly but if he is on chemo they will take it seriously, hope you are OK xxx
Lovely sunny day here, had a really good day at the paid stuff yesterday and feel quite cheery. I am actually loving these weekends at home with nothing much to do. Oh and after a lot of discussion with DS we have sold his car, the insurance was costing us £80 a month and he is away at uni and isnt using it. For some reason I had got really worked up about all this but it has gone and I have £550 to put towards a credit card. Just need to cancel the insurance now.
Been doing lots of exercise and feel a bit achy so nothing too strenuous today. Summerhouse looks great GI and skint you are doing some amazing stuff, well done! Hope you are ok this morning asb my love.
Right, more coffee x6 -
Morning ladies
Natty love please ring 111. He needs to be seen urgently by professionals. Keep us posted xx
BadCat - I would be annoyed too! Hope it doesn't repeat tonight.YL - well done on selling the car, now get that insurance cancelled lady that's an order! He might get a car tax refund too don't forget 😊
I've had a busy couple of hours (with the kids help) doing jobs before it gets too hot. They've been rewarded with a bowl of ice cream, and I am having a cuppa sat outside. Perfect. My cucumber, courgette and marrow plants are doing really well, it makes me happy to see them bloom in this lovely weather. You may recall we are getting chickens, with me being poorly I haven't given it much more thought, anyway that is today's job. I also need to get my head in slinky mode again as the weight has crept on in lockdown.Have lovely Saturdays all xx8 -

Hello
Natty, as others have said, I hope you have rung 111. They are brilliant. Lots of hugs and gws wishes for Dave x
ASB - good to hear you so cheery. Take care x
GI - just, wow!
Full on day at work yesterday, but ok. On Monday I get to work from home whilst someone else gets some office space, so that we are all well apart. Last night we had a distanced drink in the front garden with NDNs which was weird but pleasant.I have been to the allotment for a quick weed and to plant my dahlia babies. That was enough, as it was too hot for anything much else. DH is now cutting the back grass - mad dogs and Englishmen and all that, also seems to apply to Italian blood. This afternoon, the vague plan is to clear out one of the veg trugs in the back garden which quite frankly isn’t earning its keep, and apparently to measure up for a tool shed. This should be interesting as DH’s plan is to put it where the compost bins are. My plans are different. Enough said.Picked up a veg box from a different supplier this morning. The last one put the price up and the quality down after the first couple of weeks. Fingers crossed that this one is a better option for the longer term, although we do have to drive to the next village to pick it up rather than get it delivered. Only a couple of miles so not too onerous.7 -
Natty, GWS vibes to Dave and calming ones to you, please look after yourself aswell
My mums partner just got out of hospital after 3 and a half weeks, he had an acute case of Ischaemic Colitis apparently it was touch & go for a few days, thankfully he didn't pick up Covid-19.
So far today I have walked the dog, washed our bedding and hung it outside to dry in the glorious sunshine and remade the bed, next job water the plants, have a good day all.

Dailies done and I've spent the morning gardening. Took Poppet for a quick walk, but Littleydog stayed home as she isn't very well today. Will spend the afternoon relaxing in the garden.Spend less now, work less later.8

Three loads of washing now pegged out and drying nicely in the sunny breeze.
Taken DS to pick up his car - and rewarded him for getting up early by making him a bacon butty. Job done and back again before my car turned in to an oven
If there was a prize for yawning I think I'd win.
Hope you are all having a peaceful day
Rxx

EveningMy cat is back! spent the first 2 hours, inspecting the new house, round and round, into everything, after that he settled down and came for a cuddle and treats!I have been gardening and I also have bees! so I've sent an email to the vendor of the house I'm buying, but renting in the mean time as she is the landlord and I feel it is her job to get it sorted, but I don't want to fall out over it, they are living in the wall cavity on the LHS brick work! so I|'ll wait and see what she says.I have my plants back, and I have with help emptied one of the lock ups I gave notice on (30 days end of June) the owner just happened to arrive when I was there, and said if I was out by 4pm on Friday 29th May, he would ignore the 30 days and not charge me for June as he had someone wanting to rent a lock up as of Monday 1st June, so win win.Natty hugs I really hope all is ok and Dave gets the medical help he needs xxTomorrow more gardening, power washing the wheelie bin out that was emptied out today by the local bin operatives.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Natty.. I did think that it sounded likely when you said he was soaking bedding the other day.. They are testing more people now anyway so that shouldn't be a problem.. paramedics have been doing the tests so people don't need to go out and spread it further. 14 days quarantine for you so get as much help as possible for shopping and everything else.. there are hundreds of wonderful people offering help to anyone who needs it right now.. you must get that help! Chinese medics were finding good results treating it with massive Vit C doses.. 50mg a day as a minimum. It doesn't do any harm but also gives the immune system a massive boost.. it was given via IV in China and they did find it helped a bit. Take it yourself too.. you are exposed and any help your body can get the better... I truly hope his recovery is swift and setback free.. With luck you will be assymptomatic .. You will be in our thoughts an offering love, light and healing vibes for you both...Much love xx If there is absolutely anything at all any of us here can do I am certain I can speak on their behalf and say just ask.. we are all here for you both
As for my day..
fillered the holes in the toilet door.
stripped the second side of the door for the girls bedroom2x DW2x WM
folded dry stuff and hung out the wet stuff.
2 of my 10 rolls of wallpaper have been delivered.. weirdness!!
My paint arrived.. one has a split lid so I got a cardboard box full of 5L of paint!! lol.. claim in on that one!
OH has moved planters and cleaned the area along the side of the house where they live. I am so fed up of there being patio peeking plants and soil everywhere (Hazel likes to dig!) I had him do the last bit of the door stripping.. it was a hard slog today and I needed to do dinner and my hand and shoulder were hurting. I fed him smarties as reward.
I am now DESPERATE to start decorating the hallway but realise I need to finish the toilet first.. I am one of those annoying people who starts 97 projects and never finishes one! I can't finish fully until the tiles get here but I just need to gloss the door once more and touch up the woodwork. I asked Boog to start stripping the hall today and you'll never guess what the lazy beast said... 'but I painted that' ... he painted about 1/4 of it 4 years ago after I had done the rest days before I had Twinkle! I stuck the blooming paper on 14 years ago! I am raging with him.. none of them do a thing!
Almostt finished the body of my grandpinks cardigan.
