Morning xx
When I went to bed I thought 'whatever time I wake up, I'll get up', Changed my mind at 4am, but at 5.30am I got up! As I came down the stairs Mum whispered in my ear.'it's going to be a long day'She seems to have whispered to asb too.
I filled the birdbath, then toured my garden in my nightie and fleece - much to the bemusement of a neighbour's cat - making a mental note of changes I can make out there. Then I sat out with my morning brew for nearly an hour - just being and thinking in the cool of the day. Came in at 6.45 and made my porridge. I've been catching up with threads - trying to decide if it's a two brew morning...but if you have to think about it, it isn't iyswim.
I start my new bullet journal tomorrow - having finally filled the current journal, and I'm going to set up a Productivity PlannerI've bought it, I may as well give it a go. Trouble is I like notebooks/ planners when they haven't been used yet - all pristine and full of potential. I have a large stash because of this, but like the gym, you have to turn up to get the benefit. So three goals will be set down on paper to be worked towards over the next six months. Wish me luck!
I'm going to have a pootle round fb then I'll come back and list Round 1.
Have a lovely day.

Morning.
Went to bed late, having done little but sleep and rest all day yesterday. Pleased to say that both my shoulder and my wrist have appreciated the mollycoddling and liniments
Plan for today:
- send some emails
- write and post 2 cards
- quick hoover round downstairs after breakfast, as I haven't done it for a few days and it shows!
- church this morning
- phone some friends
- plant out pelargoniums
- wipe DR and kitchen windowsills where the pelargoniums have spent the last 7 months
- pot up a little plant for DS2
- sow salad seeds
- check for stray weeds in the front garden: I know there are some dandelions waving at me from the cracks in the block paving
- sew up the knitted nurse doll
- make scones, cakes and biscuits
- roast dinner
- start the smaller doll for my little goddaughter

Pigpen full of admiration for the cardigan, as for the room, all I saw was that window, it's massive, must let in so much light. And is that a window seat too? Much nicer than my boring modern UPVC things.
Sorry ladies I think I took your share of sleep last night, in fact I feel groggy because I slept too much. We had a BBQ last night, just the four of us. I lovingly made a marinade for the chicken breasts, then DS came in and put so much chilli in it you couldnt eat it, so I had to start again. After all that DH cremated the chicken anyway so you couldnt taste the marinade.
Outdoor tomatoes are planted out, with the courgettes, beans, sunflowers, zinnias and cosmos. I really wasnt in the mood for gardening yesterday but it wasnt fair to let DH do it on his own (and he has grown all this and more from seed). Cycling today but not sure what else is planned. I have some paperwork for DH and need to do my June budget.9 -
Nearly 9 o'clock - that's a more civilised hour to be doing.
Round 1 =
take clean clothes upstairs
get washed and dressed
change towels in bathroom
splash bleach down the loo
wash towels / tea towels
feed birds
put out recycling
Coffee
Yep - that's my starter for ten.

Morning all (again!)
I managed to doze back off for a few hours and feel better for it. I have unloaded the DW, the WM is swishing with the door mats and I have put the recycling out. I will be heading to the bottle bank shortly and into Tesco for bread and crisps. Plan to be on the outside sofa by 10am with a book 📖.Pork belly and roast potatoes and roasted veg for tea, my marrow plant has three huge flowers on now! Have super Sundays all xx9 -
Lovely knitting Piggers. Hoping to knit the collar today. Once again thanks fo the advice.
I need to garden too - problem is I don't do sunshine and hot.

Thank you Honey Bear9 -
Just a quick check in, don't really get on much at the weekend as normally it's family time where I leave my phone/laptop alone.
Some small odds of flying done yesterday mainly WM and pegging out, also sorting summer/winter clothing. Bathrooms still not done....feels a bit silly now!
Healthy healing, sunny, happy and positive vibes all round8 -
Over did things last night and felt very odd at 2am. Blood was down to 3.2 and no food upstairs and too wobbly to walk. DS was brilliant. He work up DD4 to find some chocolate and he made a big mug of porridge in microwave to help me recover through til morning.
Time to be more gentle today, my washing I pegged out overnight is lovely and dry, DW is on, counters s&s after DS emergency cooking session, so i will attend to folding washing and then have a day SOAADFA, and crack on with a bit later this evening when I might feel betterThe cold never bothered me anyway7 -
Good morning!
I didn't get on yesterday, but I have caught up with the thread. Take it easy Iona and Skint.
Yesterday I did 2 loads of washing which are now FUPA. This included a teddy that needed freshening up, which left the dog trying to work out how to get it off the line!! I spent about 2 hours at the allotment, pulling at some grass, weeding and planting my butternut squash. Still so much to do! I have some cardboard in the SH and another box of stuff to take down there today.
DH & DS are doing a running challenge again today, set by the running club. Today it involves decorated eggs (raw) and a spoon! I have had breakfast, so I am now going to put another hour or 2 in at the lottie before it gets too hot, then (hopefully) finish off the SH. Roast chicken later, although I like the sound of ASB's pork belly. It's a shame DS & DH don't eat pork
Have a good day everyone!
