Did a bit of gardening before taking up our timed slot at the plant nursery. It was very uncrowded and all very civilised. Only drawback was that some of the plants we wanted for hanging baskets etc aren't quite ready yet so we'll have to go back in a week's time. However we came home via the petrol station where I had the joy of my first C0sta since March 18th......bliss.
Did a bit more of my online course, must get a wiggle on as I only have 8 more days free access.
Wrote a letter to a friend to put in her birthday card, posted it.
Updated and finalised tomorrow's Mr T delivery. Still sharing it with neighbours; quite interesting to see what they eat!!!!
Dealt with a couple of admin things. l'm trying out a newish task list app; it doesn't entirely fit in with my usual way of doing things but it is interesting and quite motivating to see how I can make it work, at least so I can recommend it to students (assuming I ever get back to work).
Am gradually potting on seedlings into grow bags, large pots etc. Trying out tomatoes in a hanging basket.
One load through DW.
Chat with mum who seems fully recovered. I'll need to watch my behaviour as she has just joined FB.......spent a long time talking her through why it suggests friends for her......"why are all these people trying to contact me?" no Mum, FB has detected your name and is suggesting other people with your name may be related and you may want to link up with them; the people can't actually see you. "But I don't want to contact them all". Well FB doesn't know that.......and you might want to share photos. "But if I want to send you a photo I'll email it to you".......aaagghh.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.10 -
I win favourite daughter-in-law stickers today.. shared my netflix with OH's mother so she could watch a series she likes.. so that is her happy.
DW loaded...
bottom rib of cardy knitted.. I hate this yarn.. it is crispy and nasty.. I've been using 100% merino lately.. it is like knitting chicks.. this is like knitting nettles!

Morning. Hugs to anyone who needs them.
DH is being a pain so my mood isn't great this morning either. Going to be another scorcher today. I must do hoovering and whatever else I can be motivated to do.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
Morning xx
Four days at the paid stuff and then a full week off. woot woot.
The usual: feed the birds, refill the bird bath, put out the recycling before I go.
Oh and I was sat on the doorstep having a coffee yesterday - getting down is easy, getting up not so much!!! - and I think I have a pair of goldfinches nesting in a conifer. They'll be NDN to the woodpigeons up there, I love birds
Have a good day. Stay safe,

Morning lovelies,
Later start to the day today but still not a bad time, trying to get back to doing my morning routine every day of
Dressed
Bed made
Washing
Pots
Coffee
Before the little people get up and it's a manic mad house as it sets my day up better.
Not sure what I'll tackle today flying/chore wise but there is always lot to choose from!
Shiny happy vibes all round x8 -
Morning all
Much better nights sleep for me last night finally! Although I woke up thinking it was Sunday so that was a bit of a blow once I realised LOL.
Back to paid stuff for me, haven’t checked today’s list but mine will be...
dailies
paid stuff
wm x 1 to keep on top of it
put cushion covers etc back on to sofas
Get out for a walk
bit of admin needs doing
s/s kitchen and bathrooms
right, I’m showered and dressed, cuppa slurped let’s see what I can tackle before starting the paid stuff. Have a good day all xx7 -
Good morning all
Not such a good night’s sleep, but it was just possibly self inflicted as I am feeling the effects of the bottle of wine I consumed. And the bottle of fizz that we also consumed during a z00m call with some friends...
It’s paid stuff day off today. I need to get to the village shop and PO, go planting at the allotment, tackle the ironing pile, tick a few things off today’s list as I am becoming expert at avoiding the kitchen day, and sort out a couple of birthday cards. The plan is to make them from the ton of card making stuff inherited from my mum, and that is now in the back bedroom, but this could be an interesting challenge.I guess that I had better make a start. Have a lovely day all.7 -
Urgh...I have a hangover...8

Aww Dizzy. Lots of water. Rather thought you might have given your previous post.
List is up.
Second load through WM.
🚘 finally going in for service tomorrow and, while it's there I am meeting a friend for a socially distanced chat/picnic. Her suggestion but I had planned on hanging around to save walking back 🏠 then back to pick it up.
want to crack through list then maybe do bathroom. Stairs are grim as they never got hoovered. I also need to do some of my online course and, sometime this week, get next week's remote learning planned, prepped and sent to colleague in advance of my broadband switch next week.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
