Take the Beavis case, Barry won in the High Court and Parking Eye took it to the Supreme Court.
If you're going to comment on the legal system, you need to get your facts straight.

Barry Beavis lost in the County Court, before HHJ Moloney. He appealed, and the case was leapfrogged to the Court of Appeal. It was never heard in the High Court, at any stage. He lost at the COA, and then appealed to the Supreme Court, where their Lordships ruled 6-1 in Parking Eye's favour.

And the House of Lords has had nothing to do with it since 2005, when the Supreme Court was created.
Did they ever track down the mysterious phonecall(er) which managed to "stop" one of the hearings for a later hearing.
    All very shady

Did MSE send you a PM to tell you they removed it, and why?

I have the link saved in my browser history, so it's easy to post if anyone needs it. :) Currently at £1,340 raised.
MSE did send me a message to say not allowed.  A long way to go yet so does need resharing as much as people feel comfortable to do. Still happy to be pm'd and I'll send the link.  I know that other parking forums do allow and the link has been shared.
    Thank you.

I just had a look at this parking company. The registered address is 95 Arundel Road.  Is this it on the photograph?

There are a lot of other companies listed at the same address.  Is it an accountant’s?

As you know the public has a right to view company documents at its registered address during normal office hours.   I would also want to know where hard copies of my personal data were stored (and see for myself).

The ICO agreed that our data was not stored in accordance with DVLA requirements and would have sanctioned the parking company had it not ceased trading.

Yes that's the place. There is a little side door into that garage on the right and they have a shady little office in there. I know this for a fact as when I handed Val my letter he quickly scampered off into his hole. They also own Bex cafe next to it. All of the businesses registered at that address are owned by Val. Selden Fox ltd is not the same company as the reputable accountants based in the USA, this one is a debt collectors owned by.... go on, have a guess.....

Which parking company are you referring to that ceased trading?

Thanks for the info.  Anyone who has had a PCN from this company should (if possible) visit the office and ask for proof of secure hard copy data storage.   There will be hard copies if the case has progressed to court.  It makes me wonder if the premises are ever visited or if an audit is only carried out remotely.

It was Kernow Parking Solutions Ltd - Robert and Charlotte Ley.  Not only were they deliberately and dishonestly going against the landowner’s agreement but they were deliberately not storing data correctly (said the ICO).  When I have finished with Hayle Harbour I will be asking Alison Hernandez to consider a charge of fraud.

Please can someone help me - is One Parking Solutions’ address not 1 or 2 Cote Cottages rather than 95 Arundel Road?

Registered address is Arundel road and they were working from there in Sept 2018 at least, which is when I visited them. Pristwood is another of Val's dodgy ventures.
