Abbiejo said:Hi,
Thought I'd jump of the thread as i'm a complete bag of nerves...
We submitted our mortgage application 2 weeks ago through a broker and are still waiting on the decision. We spoke to our broker on Friday and he said our application had made it to the underwriters that morning and we should hear this week but being as we still haven't heard it's all i can think of. the longer we go the more I think we aren't going to be accepted. The valuation was done last week too so we're waiting on the mortgage offer.
Need something to take my mind off of it all and stop me checking my phone and emails every 2 minutes..... HELLPPPPP!!!!
One thing that's helped me a lot is jogging. I took up Couch 2 5K recently and it's definitely distracting ... but I know that's not for everyone!0 -

Ahhhhhh! This is amazing news, I'm so excited to finally move on to the next steps!
At least you can now move forward. Can I ask who your lender is?0 -

it's good to talk to people and see we're not the only ones in this position.0 -
I went with Yorkshire Building Society in the end! Originally I was originally going to go for HSBC, but their online application portal wasn't playing ball and it would've taken an extra week to get a telephone appointment.0

Hubby checked his too... nada!!Worrying thing is, our lender doesn’t even appear to have done a soft credit check?? AIP/ Application through a broker. Surely a soft check should appear from the AIP?Oooh, it’s made me feel worse 😢FTB-
