Well if it doesn't exist something is very wrong, since the council is called Redcar and Cleveland council!

Nearest major town is Middlesbrough, but minor ones are Redcar and Guisborough. Have to drive for 30mins to hit the 'welcome to county Durham' signs, I always check for Teesside but it's not often there. It's like living in the land that time forgot!

I meant as a county not a borough soz for confusion. Usually drop lists will relate to Counties rather than boroughs and the county of Cleveland ceased to exist in 1996 (according to a nerdy friend who lives in Yarm!) She says the borough of Redcar & Cleveland is officially in the County of North Yorkshire.

Anyway, defo confusing for you, Good Luck.

Regarding GAP, I'm confused about how to enter in my bank details, it seems to ask for some foreign type of account number rather than account number and sort code?

Does anyone have GAP pay into a building society account eg mine shows a 6 digit sort code then an 8 digit Bank account number then a number like 0797/12342536789 as the reference to my account

GAP only pay into UK based High street banks. I dont think that they pay in building societies.

The long number is the building society roll number which is how the building society locate your account. But don't worry, just give Gap the 6 digit sort code and 8 digit bank account number.

    Yes I do.

I found out about these by signing up to lots of companies, working hard for them, and checking the sites regularly. All these things take time. Are you suggesting that I should save you this time and just tell you where the jobs are?

That's what I wanted to write but I didn't have the guts to do it :o:D
Here I go again on my own....

I'm 99.9% certain that it doesn't make one ioto of difference if its a bank or building society as long as you have a sort code and account number you will be fine. But please double check with your building society as I am 0.01% unsure about it and dont want you to blame me if you don't get paid!! :rotfl:

ETA: I've just realised that I have a standing order from my bank into my childrens' building society accounts, and all the info I have set up is the sort code and account number so I'm now 99.95% certain ;);)
