I did some telephone job's for RE.

It said I would receive the audio file to listen to which would help me complete my report. I got an email saying that my audio file had been imported but no details how to download it - what do I do? Any help would be appreciated.

Go to your active assignments page. Click on this particular assignment and it should say on there in red wrting mp3 imported.click on that and it will download and play on your pc for you to hear and then input questtionnaire

does it ask you to dwonload itunes-download if you can then you can always delete afterwards.
send an email to teamleader(on assignment page) telling them the problem if it won't dwonload and if you know what was said during call then input data anyway.

  • Well, I'm new here but not new to Mystery Shopping and I thought I'd share my experiences.

GAPbuster are the worst company to work for as they have refused to pay over the most ridiculous of things.

Bare International have some great stuff, such as luggage shops and high end clothing retailers as well as getting to prop up smart hotel bars and travel by air and rail. However, it takes a long time to pay, payments are also converted into Euros and you can lose out, and although I'm British born and bred, I cannot qualify for some shops as I do not qualify as a native English speaker for some odd reason.

Retail Eyes is the best site, and I have enjoyed gym memberships, hotel stays, LOTS of good quality free food, and £15 for paying for a new mobile phone handset.

I have not had much work from TNS but I have heard good things about them, and I am registered with other companies I don't do much with.

In terms of market research RPM and Saros are my favourites and are both always interesting and very much suited to myself.
  • Anyone near Truro? Gap are paying well over the odds for a couple of *those* coffee jobs!

How do you get them? I have been with Gap for 2-3 years and never seen them. I know what company you mean though...I did get to go to a certain nightclub chain though...

People on here have emailed GAP about this and asked for these assignment before. I know that most if the people that do these have been asked by GAP as there are only a certain number of people in each area that do them as you have to have equipment to do them. You could be lucky if you emailed them. Sometimes though you might have to wait until someone else might not want to do them anymore or they might leave.

Can you take out the company names in your post please as it's against company rules to say which shops that they visit.

I'm wondering if anyone from a rural area could give me an idea of how many jobs you can get? I live in Cleveland, a county which wasn't even select-able on some sites drop down 'where are you' lists, and I'm wondering if I'll ever get anything out here!

The native speaker bit with Bare - have you sent them (or have they asked for) a recording of you?? I had to do a short recording and send it.
    Give that a try.

I noticed Cleveland isn't mentioned on TNS. I travel up to Middlesbrough to watch the home games (for my sins) so do the odd shop when I'm up that way and have discovered anything in Cleveland is listed under Northumberland! Keep thinking I ought to let them know! But it's also worth selecting "All" when looking for jobs too, as some don't show up where they should! HTH
