I have a Retail Eyes visit tomorrow. I have to take a photo of the store from the outside. It says I have to use a digi cam. I've just checked mine and it's not working properly. Can I use my phone cam or do I have to buy a new digi cam? Someone HELP! Thanks in advance.
You can use a phone cam, I use mine and it is only 2 megapixels. take a couple just in case one is shakey!
    Good luck

Thanks Leila1, you're a darling. I hope they don't have a go at me for using it.

They'll never be able to tell whether it came from a cam or a phone, it won't matter as long as it's decent quality.

I wouldn't do that if I were you!

Obviously you would have to cancel if you were too poorly to do the job, or there was a death in the family etc.

If you are cancelling because you have overbooked and haven't the time to do them, then companies will take a very dim view and may sack you if you make a habit of it.

Think of it the other way round. You're a MS company and you think you've got the job covered, so you tell the client they will have their results by a certain date. Then someone cancels, so you have the nightmare of ringing round trying to find someone else to do the job, so you don't let the client down. It won't win you any popularity points!

I feel like I have to explain myself now so here we go.....

I am cancelling 2 x jobs due to my main full time work commitments changing. I normally finish work at 4 in the afternoon but for the new few weeks have to stay at work till 7. Which doesn't make me the happiest bunny.

A few of the jobs I had taken on you have to do them by 8pm. I cannot guarantee that I will make them due to public transport and being in London with traffic. I was looking forward to meeting up with friends and having a bite to eat, a free glass of wine and a girlie chat.

When I took the jobs on I could complete them, I don't want to say I will make it there by 8 just incase I can't because that would look bad on me and also the client. I would really like to complete these jobs and earn the extra cash but do not want to risk it for all parties.

I am giving them plently of time to find a replacment.

Southernginge, you don't have to explain yourself to us Darling. We all find ourselves in the same situation every now and then. We don't jeopardise our extra earning avenues just for the sake of it afterall. None of us are perfect afterall otherwise we wouldn't be here trying to learn and help each other out x

Hi all, for those who have done it a few questions. Thanks, u r all :A

In the "about your business" section,
what is the answer to "what is the name of your business/address?"
Is it just your name again ?

Do you have business partners ?
    I am guessing NO

It seems quite simple apart from the above, only your name/address/NI number/date started working and what the work is.

Is it just your name again ? Yep - unless you want to make a name up... Anything goes here but don't be obscene! :D
