i have been queried for one of my assignemnts with GFK and now i dont have the questionnaire as i took notes on my mobile n the betting slip .... i am not sure if they can retrieve my completed questionnaire from their system.... advice please on how i shud tackle this situation..

What was the query? Maybe I can help to figure out the answer for you. If it the name of the horse though I would be stuck. I never do betting shops as I haven't a clue how to bet on a horse.

I know this is mostly about MS but anyone looking to join factfinders should check their email as I have just received an invite from Toluna -

Used to be with FF and thought they sucked tbh and much prefer Shop & Scan but maybe some will get on better with their system than I did!

so are BAI good? I figure I should sign up with all the major companies... I will get settld in the ones I am new with first I guess.....

I think if I loved in London or a big city I would make this my full time job!

Bai (or Bare) are good, for my area they have approx two assignments a week and they pay much better than some of the other sites. You fill out a basic form (Hollypear - isn't amber arch the one where you describe a past shop experience?), and then once set up they ask you to complete a more detailed form about yourself and to carry out their certificate (pretty easy - i think you have to get over 75%). They have an interesting range of clients. Worth joining I would say - good luck:D

    Hi all,

This evening I completed my first mystery shopping asignment, it was an online delivery. On arrival, I asked for a reciept, but was refused. The delivery person told me that my reciept was my email.

I've read in Gap Busters terms that no receipt = no pay.

I've sent them the email I got from the shop.

What do you think my chances are?

*cough* client name in your post! *cough*

I wasn't aware that they MS'd online deliveries?
When I did a phone delivery one I only got a card receipt, but I put in the data as usual.
I don't think they usually check receipts (in my experience), but you could just upload a copy of the email if that's how they do it for the online deliveries.

They do now and they have a very close look to check time ect, I have for the first time lost a receipt for a job and thought I'll explain thay might let me off they have always been good with me, but no not this time they said they won't pay. I didn't grieve about it, yet another lesson to be learnt.

You put that in the comments box and they are normally okay. I've found with gapbusters, they will try it on, if you are forthright with them they are normally quite reasonable and I haven't been sacked (yet!). You could follow it up with an email reminding them that you could have complained (it is your right to have a receipt), but you didn't want to risk exposing yourself as a mystery shopper.

This is just what works for me, I'm sure others do things differently and you will have to learn what works out best for you.
