I haven't had to do 'part ex' thank goodness as that adds more complications. They should let you use your own car though as most garages wouldn't give a trade-in price without first seeing the car. Good luck, hope it goes ok for you. :j

Someone mentioned shop and scan, I've just tried to sign up with it said "Please enter your Invitation Number:"
Does this mean that someone has to invite me? if anyone get's points (or similar) for inviting me, please let me know :)

Was reading on another thread on MSE that it looks like I have already put my name in the hat for shop n scan, as I filled out a form (last week) that enters your name into various panels (including shop n scan), and they let you know when they have a space. I had an acceptance from Tesco and had a test trial from them yesterday. :T

    Don't know if you've maybe filled it in already - https://www.volunteer4panels.com ?

I phoned them about it and they said just purchase any product as long as I have the receipt.

I wish RE would be consitant with what they told people, I phoned about this scenario as, in the past, I have purchased something different, but was told on this occasion the whole visit is about Hayfever and getting the staff to make a recommendation and also making an enquiry about the 2 gadgets, so we MUST follow the suggested course of action and buy the Hayfever remedy.

I do actually have hayfever, but most tablets clash with other medication, so my purchase is now listed on Ebay.

Hey Dazzie I will sell you my hay fever remedy half price. Only joking. I am tempted to purchase the remedy and return it next day and say it was for a friend and it wasn't the right kind. Hopefully then the shop will let me exchange it for something more useful.

Talking of RE they had hayfever type jobs at the weekend. This was in my local chemist who never ever open on a Sunday. They have now extended the date so I am doing it tomorrow.

Can anyone with Optimum advise me. I have checked my online banking and did 5 jobs 2 months ago and haven't been paid yet.

Have you raised the invoice for it? If you click on the Invoice tab you just raise it then they pay the jobs reviewed within 7 days usually!!!

Yes and the jobs are listed as being invoiced. Thanks for replying though. This is about the nicest forum I know. No matter what your problem there is always someone willing to help and advise.

It is years since I have purchased anything, so had no idea of cost and was gobsmacked at the price of them, after saying I didn't want anything to make me drowsy, that bumped the price up and I went for the cheapest tablets which were £6.99  no wonder so many people have hayfever this year, they can't afford the medication :rotfl: . If you scan the receipt in and make sure you keep a copy, I don't see why you couldn't exchange it, it depends on the stores policy.

Flipping heck. £6.99 was the cheapest. And for a measly fee of £5. Serve RE right if everyone body swerved this particular MS. I wish we'd known this when they did that survey. The one where we got to MS them so to speak.

I can't understand people sying the minimum purchase was £6.99

I did 6 of the Lloyds jobs and purchased the 7 day Piriteze Non Drowsy Tablets (£3.99 a pack) in each store.

They have all gone through the RE System OK

And as for exchange or refund, not possible I am afraid, Lloyds have a no refund or exchange policy on any medicines.
