My 'new car' was absolute disaster! The salesman refused to discuss prices until he had seen my current car (which was a made up one for the senario). I've rung area manager but not heard anything back. I'm supposed to go back for second visit, but he said I must bring the car!

Will I still get paid? Will I be in trouble?

I've done a couple of these but won't any more as I find them too stressful. I did one once where the guy completely refused to discuss the car I wanted (the brief) and kept insisting that I should get a different one. He oractically told me I was stupid for not getting the car he wanted.

Another one told me that import cars bought on the internet had the 'wrong' kind of paint for the UK and thats why to get a car that would last you shouldn't buy a cheaper one on the internet adn thats why he couldn't match the price!

Thanks guys for the above. I thought it would be stressful and it was! Well, hopefully when I do catch up with my area manager she will agree!

I have a booked assignment for a fast food place for two weeks time with gap. On the jobs available they are offering a premium to do the same site on Saturday - can i be greedy and do both?
I'd cancel the one in 2 weeks and do the premium one!

I did two RE pharmacies this morning but one was closed! Apparantly it doesn't open at weekends. I looked on the website beforehand and it showed opening hours as 00:00-00:00.....I just thought this meant they hadn't bothered to upload their hours...but obviously now realise it means closed.

Does RE pay the fee when the shop is closed? I should have realised this beforehand, and I can't reschedule it so have had to close the job as 'unable to complete'.

I also did exactly the same thing. Except i had originally said i'd do it yesterday then got stuck at work so rescheduled to today. Why do they let you pick a day when the shop is shut? Things like this wouldn't happen then!!

I know, it's just strange that they don't get the dates right to begin with. I was phoned this afternoon and rescheduled to next week. When I explained what happened he said "Oh well no, of course you can't do it on a Saturday". Odd since the other pharmacy I did was just 150 yards away and was open on Saturday! Grrrrrr RE are starting to irritate me! :D

BTW have had emails from RE asking about business phonecalls and hotel visits - might be worth people checking their inboxes if they are interested.

I've also had several emails from RE over the last two days & have replied expressing an interest in them as they've asked - just hope I'm able to access them when they are available! Up to now most of the ones showing for my area are hundreds of miles away! Even searching for assignments is the same. Oh well, fingers crossed!

    Hi

I just joined RE yesterday and am already doing an assignment next week. Off to a pub for some food, beer and a coffee, lovely.
I used to do MS for a company called SCHER, they don't seem to be around anymore, but I did loads of hotel visits which were great. I had to have dinner, pub meal at night, order an ironing board and order food from room service. I spent my whole day eating, it was amazing. Anyone else work for them and what has happened to them - did they change their name?

It's an MS qualification you can take, but you pay for it - some ms'ers on here have taken it so can confirm details. I haven't taken it but have subscribed to many of the ms sites (inc. Bare) and it has not been a problem. Once subscribed on Bare they like you to take their own brief test (but don't fret its common sense really).
Hope this helps and good luck!:D
