Very annoyed, did a yellow garage on Friday, filled up with the £10 and spent 51p on a packet of Skittles in the shop.

However today the assignment was rejected as I didn't spend £1. I'm annoyed because I have a receipt and put in £10 of petrol with no premium fees or anything to do them a favour then they turn round and say I did it incorrectly.

They have the check to phone me a few weeks back begging me to travel 50 miles to do a golden arches job for two poxy garage jobs as fuel reimbursment but always pick a fault. I've left them a phone message and I'm becoming increasingly impaitent with there crap service.

    (Gapbuster this is)

How have you left them a phone message? If it's the UK office you're rung, they won't be happy - people have got struck off for doing that!!!

And sorry but if the brief said to spend £1 in the shop and you didn't, you only have yourself to blame!

TG is now going to double-check her brief for the rip-off petrol job she's doing this afternoon!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Talking of Gap, I have an assignment to do for them today and the instructions are very meagre. I'm assuming they are letting me say whatever I want in regards to what features I want from the product etc. But, it says I've to make a purchase and they'll reimburse £5. But, do I have to spend at least £5 or can I spend less than this?

Is it a small supermarket? If so, you need to spend £5 or more...

So - if you spend £4.99 you won't get paid; spend £5.01 and you're a penny out of pocket!

Take your calculator with you! :rotfl:

    Hi,

I've been following this thread a while, Timmne - is there any way you could update the list of companies in the OP please? Some that have been mentioned here recently which are used by some MSE'ers aren't showing.

Keep up the good work btw - this whole thread has been brilliant - very informative, friendly and helpful!

Yeah no problems - if anyone wants one adding, would they mind posting them here please? To be a little more cheeky/demanding, could you please post the info that's on the OP for the other companies? Thanks!

    :D

PS - I'm in the process of thinking about (that's right - thinking about thinking about!) doing a new OP so watch this space!

I'm due to due my 1st MS for the 'Value' supermarket, I knew I'd be in the area on the day visiting family, so accepted, by my family have told me the main store is closed (being rebuilt) and the temporary one has no petrol station/cafe/fish counter.

Do I go ahead with the MS, this now being an easy shop? (N/A....N/A..)
Or do I have to contact the MS company?

I would definitely still do the visit.

The client (ie the value supermarket) knows that the store is being refurbished & haven't told the MS company to suspend visits to this store, so the client still wants the store to be visited.

Obviously you will need to include comments about why certain questions are not applicable.

Taking a photo to back up your results is always a good idea.

You can spend upto £5, it can be less or more but they will only reimburse £5. This is what happens in my experience. Do call the MS company number or email them and ask. They are usually very helpful.
