Oh, and Timmne, for the OP, Amber Arch pay 3-5 days after they receive your reports and invoice, and they pay by cheque.

Is that the norm for Amber Arch? I sent goods back and invoice which they would have received last Monday (12th) but still no payment and I had to spend a lot (£150).

Re amber arch not sure how long they take to process things but i did a job for them at the start of april and got a query just the other day, and not been paid yet. They are really nice and helpful though.
I think i know the job you did for amber arch, the fee was quite good, but the outlay for the item is quite a bit. This is the only disadvantage with Amber arch, you nearly always have to send the item back

    Me too!

But as someone just said (if it was the same shoe shop job) I laid out £20, which you obviously get back, but then had to post the shoes back, for which you don't get reimbursed and had to pay to park too, as it was at an outlet place and nowhere else to park and all that comes out of the fee.

I guess having said all that at least the fee was more generous than most, I suppose, but I really think they should reimburse the postage - I mean, I could have just taken the shoes back for a refund - would have prob been cheaper!

Spend as much as you like - they give the full reimbursement whether you spend 1p or £1k. I usually buy post-it notes and pens. :)

Just be careful that if they ask you to spend a minimum of £5, that you actually spend it or they'll prob refuse to pay you, particularly in the case of Gap.

They will re-imburse for P&P you just have to put it on your invoice. :)

Can I check - is anyone else still having problems with the RE available assignments? I have seen a couple of alerts but don't seem to be seeing any new jobs and I am in London. I have also tried searching but still not seeing any new ones?

    Seems a bit strange!

Same here for me (south west); just see some pharmacies hanging around near me, and nothing much elsewhere!

Yes, weird goings on here too

If I click on "Available Assignments" I only see a few even though I've got my settings set to search 15 miles

If I click on "Search for Assignments" and put in my home postcode, loads more show up!!!!:confused:
