Can anyone actually read the new RE pdf.html assignment notes page; I can't - I use safari on my Mac and just wondered if it is just me!

It'll download the file to either your desktop or your documents folder (in your Stack if you're on Leopard). You have to delete the .html bit and then it'll open in Preview. I've no idea why it's like that. Alternatively use Firefox - for some reason that doesn't bring the .html extension.

I'm sure their designer does the site by throwing bananas at the keyboard.

Is that the norm for Amber Arch? I sent goods back and invoice which they would have received last Monday (12th) but still no payment and I had to spend a lot (£150).[/quote]

Yeah they sat they aim to reimburse within 3 days so if it's been longer than that then email them. I did and they said they had been really busy/ understaffed or something but would ensure mine was a priority - I received cheque 2 days later.

Thanks for that - and to Jobbing Musician...I haven't got any assignments at the mo so not urgent; and what a palaver...it's only in the last 2 days this has happened.

I agree about the bananas though; I love the quote and will be using it in strategy meetings in future!!! :rotfl:

OOH; thanks to the alerts thread, I've got a MS at my local and not very good [oops I can't say but I am chuffed]. We were only moaning about the service there 2 days ago.

    Don't you love MSing sometimes.

Doesn't work for me in Firefox. I emailed them and asked about it, and got told I needed to have the latest Adobe Reader. Which I actually already have, so that was a bit pointless. I'm gonna try in IE shortly. I don't know what they have changed, because it always used to work.... this week I just get computer foreign characters/gobbledegook....
