Maximising income - Mystery Shopping? Surveys? (Part Three)

so many times ive had to walk away from a closed store or store having a refurb, usually they try to put the blame on you by saying u should of checked that they were open??grr ... however most usually pay out and offer a revist (double payment). RE only offered half payment and full payment for a revisit which i find is cheek especially for a long term mystery shopper who has been loyal .. Id love to find out how much the retailers actually pay Mystery shoppiing companies.. oh well off to get a free sarnie :P

I did it!

Just got back from my pub lunch. Think it went pretty well. Exceot for I ordered drinks first (as per brief) and didn't ask for a reciept. I do have one for the food though, so I suppose if i just don't get the reimbursement for drinks it's not too bad!

I had a bit of a problem though as their PDQ machine wasn't working and I had to use my cash to pay when i had wanted to use my C Card. Oh well!

Will it be a problem about the receipts?

Looking forward to my next one tomorrow now! Yey!

RE rang me two hours after I accepted an assignment to advise me that I had 46 more hours in which to confirm the date of the visit, which it already states on the questionnnaire. Was I to thump on the bathroom door and demand when my husband, who was having a bath, could accompany me as a matter of urgency? I've never missed a shop. It makes no sense... I might ask them next time, why the double checking.

I asked them, he replied saying apparently people don't get their dates right so he just "prefers" to double check- think it must be a personal policy by a certain member of staff, yet increasingly annoying!!!!

I've done lunch jobs before when I've only had a receipt for the food and been paid fine. I never ask for a receipt for the drinks as it looks too obvious!

i also did my first job for TNS but the staff member gave me a large drink instead of a regular drink although i specifically mentioned it; just realised when i got the receipt. i have explained it in the questionnaire ...i hope they understand......the bill was just half the amount of what was the reimbursment fee...

my RE account says payment made on the 2nd may but i havn't received the money in my bank account....has any1 else checked the money has actually came to the bank.....thnx
