Just wish I could do one a little bit sooner though as I'm excited about starting this!!
Oh and I just received an email from TNS saying I had been accepted by them! Woohoo!
:j
Well done Sarah Jane, hope they all go well for you. I am still waiting to pay someone to do the TNS one for me. (joke)
Once you do these have a good scout through the forum as you will find other companies that have some really good assignments with really good fees.
Enjoy it.0 -
I have a problem with my payment from GAP, I dont appear to have been paid everything I was owed for March, am I going to get grief if I query what I have been paid for and how much?
At least with RE I know where I stand and exactly what I'm being paid for!!0 -

As this is currently in the news and accessible by any member of the public I shall be naming a company in this post.Carphone Warehouse Sack GAPbuster!
Mobile_Today wrote:Carphone is set to axe its mystery shopper firm Gapbuster, and will instead appeal to customers to give feedback on its sales staff’s performance.
Carphone bosses feel that mystery shopper feedback is unreliable because store staff have begun to recognise them, store mangers have been told.
The retailer now plans to ask customers for feedback by placing a phone number at the bottom of random receipts, and will offer customers incentives for giving feedback. It is believed the new scheme will be implemented in September.
Carphone staff are currently given a maximum of £300 worth of store vouchers if they are given good reports by Gapbuster’s shoppers. The incentive is considered easy money because staff are often aware when they are being mystery shopped.
One staffer said: ‘At the moment when a new mystery shopper comes
in, it’s always obvious who they are and we’ll email warnings to each other about what they look like.’
Yet another blow for GAPbuster, can't say I'm shocked..0 -
Yeah it sounds about right.... I wonder if MSing will hit a bit of a low point for a few years as companies try this system out. They'll soon realise they're not getting much feedback and switch back to MSing I'm sure....
I do wonder though if it's mystery shoppers in general or just GAPbusters' mystery shoppers that CW don't think are worth having?!0 -
that links to an entirely different story??0

So, they will include a phone number on random receipts.
A customer enters the store and is reasonably satisfied with the service and buys a phone or whatever. He might have a number to call to offer feedback.
Another customer enters the store and is not really convinced enough to spend his hard earned dosh so he doesn't get a receipt.
Can anyone else see a flaw in their new scheme ? :T
Also, seeing that the MOS gets up to £300. I wonder how much GAP get paid for the paltry sum they pay us.0 -
