Just wanted to confirm that allocation of jobs for Amber Arch is by Email - they send a list of available jobs for the following month then assign jobs and send paperwork out for the 1st of that month.

I've done one job for them. The spend was enough to cover food and drinks for 4 of us, but there was no fee. Just viewed it as a free meal out!

That chain has since moved to another MS company, and I've not seen any further jobs on Market Public.

Is it only me who gets calls from Retail Eyes just to ask whether or not you are still completing a visit as scheduled tomorrow? How infuriating!!!! Especially when (if you do not answer) they leave a message to say please call back to confirm. Since when does the onus lie on the MS to confirm a visit will still go ahead as already booked???

I can understand they have people who drop out or forget they have visits, but does this not just go against the whole idea of booking visits etc. They seemed to be increasingly becoming bogged down by bureaucracy and admin, especially with their "newly improved" system which is a shambles. They send out emails to confirm visits the day before, before you know it they will want to come along with you to check you do the visit!!!!!

No I've had them too - I just act all confused - "Oh sorry, did I not select tomorrow then?" Then they have to pretty much admit they don't trust you!

Haha- I think I might have to try that!!! I'm sure its a hierarchical decision- the people making the calls must be annoyed for having to make them!!!!!!

i got a phone call once saying i had not completed an assignment and i had to point out to them that is was in 2 parts and i had to return in a copuple of days to retreive my item i had borrowed money against, they gave me grief i took the job onn the last day of the month as someone let them day and i got pestered to finish i pointed out that the brief said DO not return the same day,
do they read the paper work ??
