What's the most anyone has earned in one day from MSing?

I'm wondering if anyone has managed to bag lots of MS jobs all in one high street on the same day and managed to spend 10 minutes in each at £10 a pop or something like that?

I imagine it's possible because MS jobs offer a lot compared to the time when not including travel time.

Ten minutes for £10..I wish! Generally for me it works out to be minimum wage or less after fuel/parking costs and the computer input. My best paying job was a rare (credit check involved) finance one.

I've been asked to do a job for GAP, they phoned me and asked about it, told me they would need to send me a special kit. I've accepted the job but now realise the location isn't in the town they said, but on a holiday park which charges an entrance fee. They haven't mentioned the entrance fee anywhere and have not answered my enquiry asking if it will be reimbursed. It could of course be that the chain the shop is with haven't told GAP that you can't access the establishment without paying an entrance fee. What do you think I should do - it isn't for a couple of weeks, but of course I can't phone them to ask!

Well, I did one for £10. I was in and out in 15 minutes. Probably 30 minutes admin. 15 minutes travel.

I could possibly cut admin down to 5 minutes and if I have lots of jobs the travel would per job would be minimal.

*Wearily* READ THE THREAD! Most of the questions you ask are answered here....

Thank you for your input. The thread is 90 pages and 1790 plus posts long. It would take me weeks to read it all. I have just signed up with a couple of MS companies but wonder if it is even worth the bother. The £5 would not even pay for the public transport here in London to get the place and back.

So would someone be kind and jot down the answers  please???? :heartpuls Begging here, on my knees :kisses2: If these questions are coming up often then they should be noted in a sticky to help newbies like myself.

I always answer peoples questions no matter how often they come up.:EasterBun :icotbaske :easter_os

OK, seeing as you beg so nicely & I'm sitting watching the footy at the same time - here we go...
How much money can one earn on avarage doing mystery shopping per month or per year, before or after tax? Very difficult to say, most firms pay very little, so few people on here do this for a living, most tend to do it for a bit of fun / extra pocket money - you're not going to make a fortune. You might get some "free" stuff (i.e. purchases reimbursed or free meals)

Some of the companies want your banking details, how do you feel about that? Is it safe? Certainly if you start with the companies named on the first post, then yes, we're using them and appear to be "safe" - we get paid into our back accounts by BACS, which seems to be the norm.

Some of the companies are in the US or on the continent, are they safe? Will they pay out? Again see 1st post, and yes, still seem to be ok.

What about the video mystery shopping? Anyone doing that? Can't answer you on that one as never done this - I do remember someone on here talking about a video one they'd done.

And what about the telephone recording? Again, not done personally, altho I have done telephone ones that aren't recorded - much easier, as you can make notes as you go.

Using your address as a postal research address? Not done this either, sorry - I don't want the junk mail, as I get enough as it is!!

    Hi all,

React Surveys - am I supposed to print the questionnaire off and send it to them in the post?

    Am a little confused!

    Thanks

On a couple of occasions I have earned £80+ in a day. But how much can be earned in a day is not really the point; it is how much you can earn on a consistent basis. I have been earningI £200+ per week for several weeks now, but the work is never really guaranteed.

Very occasionally, yes (but probably more like 20 minutes per job plus time to write report).

I think your premise that MS jobs are well-paid (if you exclude travel time) is generally not true.
