Well done Paul. It's good that you are earning an income doing something you enjoy to do. Just goes to show that there is always ways to make money and us moneysavingexperts will find
. I would love to do some cinema visits. I have never seen any going but I will keep looking.

I'm still looking into it at the moment and wondering what's the best way to enter the information whilst calling (write it or get a hands free speaker phone and type the info as the call is being made). Still trying to suss it all out so any hints/tips would be very welcome
.
I must admit that I hold the phone in one hand and type with the other! You could use a hands-free phone but these pick up extraneous background noises. You could get a phone where you plug in a headset.
But, with around 10 surveys per day, I just struggle on with my one-handed typing making quick notes and editing once the call has finished.
I do not think copious notes are expected as that is impossible within the time-frame given to the caller at the start of the survey.0 -

The cinema visits only involve looking at the adverts at the start of the film. I am not allowed to take anyone with me!0 -

I've heard of those ones. I do the one when 2 of you get to go which is good for a night out.0 -
Thanks D4WNO, can you tell me if they are relatively quick/easy/pain-free? As there are 8 in my cluster I am nervous about accepting them, especially as it will have to be done over Easter when we were looking forward to time off!Smile ! And pass it on..0

I usually spend about £7.55 to be sure.
(Still not worth a 50 minute round trip, though. I am delighted to see they are having real problems getting the jobs filled, this month. Perhaps they'll see sense and start paying a fee! )
Ummm, no! With RE, I assumed I was only allowed to buy the item. With a chemist visit I spent £2.60 on a cold remedy. So could I have spent the £3 allowance on something I actually want , like a hairdye for £3?
With GAP computer (£5 allowance), I spent £1 on a notebook as I read it that they will pay the full £5 anyway (with, the £4 profit being taxable). Is this correct? I have my first TNS one on Thursday, a supermarket sweep...any tips?0 -
I've just completed my first job for RE. The item I was advised to purchase was £4.85, however my expenses are only £3.00. I looked at the other products on the shelf and couldn't see any that were under £3. How can you ask the member of staff for a recommendation, go through all the rigmarole and then ask for something else that's under £3? I thought the purpose was to see what you were offered and go on the recommendation?

Sounds like we got recommended the same product ! I just asked the difference between the products and then went for the cheapest cold remedy option on the shelf. I guess you could just say " I'll leave it for now" and buy cough sweets and bubble bath etc! Or even say it is too expensive. ( I had said after she asked who it was for, that I needed medication for my husband, as he wanted to try something else because his usual brand gives him a dry mouth.)0 -

Have three cinema visits this weekend, so I expect to earn £250+ this week.
Nice to be kept updated.0
