Just spent 2.5hrs writing up 2 reports for GFK. I am not impressed at all at all
Almost felt like giving up halfway through the first and just putting the job back on the board but had already done both visits today (30mins each!)
Anyone that thinks this is easy money, it is NOT. 3.5hrs not including travel time for a total sum of £30
Okay, moan overBetter go, still need to complete a TNS report before I go to bed! As Mr. Tesco says, every penny counts after all lol

I've just accepted my first two assignments with GAP. I requested the assignments and got my confirmation email to say it had been approved at 20.58pm this evening. When I've looked at the evaluation paperwork, they have me down as actually doing the shops today and not tomorrow as requested? It's a complete impossibility to do them today as the shop closed today at 17.00pm and I didn't request the job until 3 hours later!
I've emailed them but am wondering what kind of response I'm going to get. I've tried to reschedule on my profile but it's not bringing up any available alternative shopping dates.
Has anyone else had this problem with the before?0 -

It's probably ok but I would check with the people you rent from just to make sure.
Our house deeds have a covenant in that prevent people running a business from home. However the local council said it was fine to be homebased in this job as I'm not causing a nusiance to the neighbours by doing it. The lady said they would only object if it was a business where people/traffic were coming and going all day or I was operating noisy machinery or something like that. Here I go again on my own....0 -
am i correct that with RE if they give you time slots eg. 12-3 then 6-10, you have to enter and be finished and leave within this time?I'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!:mad:0

for each of the different stores there's a different site. e.g. ww.counterintelligenceaba.co.uk/WHATEVERSHOP/agent/login.asp
I think you have to register for each individual store site separately.0 -
Well the thing I was worried about happening came this morning. Rather than reply to my email last night about being allocated an assignment date for yesterday even though I didn't request the shop until gone 8pm last night and the shop had closed 3 hours previously, I've instead received emails this morning saying my reports are overdue! Of course they are!! I've not done any assignments for this company yet and am now really worried they are going to cancel the other assignments I've got booked for a few weeks time.0

Not in my experience. After all, they have no control over how long it takes the pub, etc. to serve you. I have made it a rule of thumb to arrive at least half an hour before the close time (or 45 min for a meal).
Edit: be careful, though. Some pubs stop serving food long, long, before the time given by RE. If you arrive after the food time, you have lost your free meal and had all the trouble of going to the venue for a drink, AND RE normally specify that you have to hang around for 45 mins (they must be joking, I think sometimes). Best to ring before you go to check food serving times!
In most cases they can't see your arrival time - if you are really pushed, you can order your drinks and 'savour' them for a couple of minutes before ordering your food, rather than having a leisurely drink followed by a meal, IYSWIMEx board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
Thanx, was thinking of goin 2.30ish, but will aim for earlier. It also says if I take someone uner 18 they must have a meal also, but what if they are under the age of eating proper meals! i can't force a bit of steak down him!
I'll have break that rule then!
Oh dear, had to cancel now due to 'unforseen circumstances' (1st MS cancellation ever!)
Do RE work on weekend to receive my e-mail?I'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!:mad:0
