Its submitted now but cheers all for the help!! Having a weekend from hell though. Cause have just gone a sandwich shop where I had to take a photo from the outside. When I left the place I had 2 police officers waiting for me outside and took me to one side asking why I was taking a photo. Good job I had the job sheet in my bag to show them. But did have a nice little crowd that gathered around me to stare. Oh the shame of it.

Have you taken the picture before going in? I always take them after ... and tend to use the camera on my mobile rather than a normal camera. It's not that obvious with the phone and I just take a handful of pictures to make sure one turns out nicely.

Oooo big hug for that one!! I'd hate the thought of that happening. :o You'd think the police would have better things to do! Thats ranking up there with the horror story of the MS woman who got *arrested* for being suspicious in the builiding soc.

When I do the sandwich photos I always do a bit of banging of the camera and muttering along the lines of for goodness sake will you work, I'll just take a picture of that shop to see if you are working. Never been arrested yet so its a sure fire winner tactic! :D

On one of my early supermarket shop ones I did get followed round by one of the secruity guards and thought I was going to get my shoulder felt for looking suspicious but luckily it didn't happen.
  • Hi there,

I have a mystery shop planned for next week and I have to tell them which buildings are to the left and right of the branch. Does anyone know if that would be facing the shop or as I would be exiting? It's my first one so I want to make sure that I get it right. Any help would be great. Many thanks!!

Usually as you stand and face the shop.
I doubt anyone would query it if you did do it the other way anyway. The point is just to show you've been to the right shop.
  • I signed up with a couple of mystery shopping companies only 2 weeks ago and just wanted to leave some feedback saying that I have earned well for very little effort, it has been well worthwhile

    Hello!
Does anyone know, for RE pub visits where you have to buy food between a certain time and spend 45mins in there, do you have to be out of the pub between the food shop times? ie. If I have to shop between 12-2pm, would I have to get there before 1:15pm to be out of there before 2pm?
Usually you have to get there between the stated times, You can leave anytime you like Unless they tell you otherwise.
