But the seance changed it all for me, it was so stupid and comical that I can only see them as the fools they are.By taking action and going to the police, you will probably feel more in control and less like a victim.By taking action and going to the police, you will probably feel more in control and less like a victim.0

I've been there, although nowhere close to what Annie has to put up with. But it was an aggressive neighb who worked in more subtle and underhand ways. Horrible feeling - that gnawing in the pit of your stomach from wondering 'what next' to then being just incensed that a human being can be so bludy unreasonable and spoil your enjoyment of home life - what's wrong with them!
The day he went that bit too far and I called the police - "Go on then!" was his encouragement - was the turning point. I explained it all to the PC, giving him a detailed chronological list of what had being going on, and he was in no doubt that the guy was completely out of order - he was told firmly to 'cease and desist' and we were encouraged to go to mediation to clear the air. Quite amazing how suddenly 'reasonable' a person can become when sitting in front of an impartial witness - all his belligerence vapourised.
Bullies are pathetic.3 -
My sister had one of these insane neighbour types, a 60+ year old man. He just went nuts for some perceived slight, never sure what kicked him off. He removed all the guttering down the side of his house so all the rain pooled onto my sisters driveway, he used to get up early in the morning so he could turn on his sprinkler so that she couldn't get in her car to go to work without getting wet. Loads of other things went on also. She eventually moved house, luckily she wanted a bigger house anyway. For some reason he then turned on the neighbour on the other side, not sure what went on but he eventually ended up in court and got an ASBO against him (reported in the local paper). My sister died a couple of years later from cancer and this sub-human POS went to where my brother-in-law was working in the supermarket checkout and actually taunted him about my sisters death. He was barred from Tesco for life when reported to the manager. Luckily, for me, I didn't find out about this incident until my BIL told me after the old b*******d had passed away himself..........

Annie's neighbours are worse, much worse; it's what they choose to be - arrogant and sociopathic. And they are infecting their offspring with this unreasonableness. They need to be tackled - firmly.1 -
annie206 said:Hello everyone, I thought I'd give another update on the fence/decking nightmare. So lots has happened since my last update. I've had to put the decking situation on hold as the fence situation took a pretty sinister turn. We had workmen arrive to do some work on our wall, this wall runs inside our boundary and is concreted to our steps that lead into our garden, these steps are concreted to our house. She had her grey plastic fence erected so it runs in line with our wall, clearly in our garden. We were going to live with it to save the peace but when we started working on our wall her and her daughter came out screaming that it was their wall and so were the steps and they would be taking them. They then stood swearing in my husbands face from less than a foot away, the 3 workmen all witnessed this and said it was disgusting, so I contacted the mediator again and told him. This was in June, he came out and told us and her that the wall was ours and her fence was trespassing. She disputed it and went to a solicitor. To cut a long story short, shes tried everything and is about £6000 down so far, but her solicitor finally conceded that her fence will have to come down as we have a Determined Boundary registered at the LR. During the last few months she's thrown weedkiller over the fence, killing 3 of my trees, various shrubs and parts of the lawn. Also, about 3 weeks ago her daughter painted a huge pentagram on the lawn in gloss paint, then 3 of them dressed in stupid black duffel coats stood around it chanting. In the middle was a casserole dish, obviously meant to be a cauldron, which they set fire to. All this was aimed at us. My sister pointed out that this could have scared someone half to death. We have the whole thing on film and I'm considering going to the police and reporting them for harassment. So regarding the decking, I have discovered more by talking to other neighbours and it appears that just before we moved in 2 years ago she extended it out by about 3 feet. So I went looking on the Internet and as she used to run her house as a B&B I found photos of how it used to look, so I now have photos of it before she extended it. Now the fence debacle is over I will be going to the planning office about her decking. Maybe if she hadn't been so spiteful we wouldn't be where we are now. Thank you all for your comments, I hope to update you again soon.I wish you luck in dealing with these people. Keep a log, keep contacting the police and planning and please do upload the video of them chanting around a casserole dish to YouTube.2

I've read your thread from the beginning, what has replaced that grey fence now that the boundary has been clarified? Do come back and update us on the decking once you've made any progress.1

Thanks for the update, I am in shock at the developments - these people sound crazy. God I’d love to see the photos....1

Since these neighbours had free rein on the adjoining garden (that is OPs garden) and no neighbours for 10 years, I think in their heads they have made the garden their own. Almost like a deranged, obsessive lover (?)
Only way to bring them to senses is report them. Good job on following up with mediator and clearing up the DB issue.
Now email Council the facts, leaving emotional details
Also don't hesitate to call police on these bullies!
No one should have to live in their own bloody home, being bullied by these god awful seance dancing menacing plant killing warts. All my good wishes and will power to you Annie. xx
