Goodness. After so much deck-related stress I think you could use some deck-related humour.

Her grey fence is still there, we have given her until the 12th of September to remove it. This will be our 3rd deadline, but thankfully her solicitor has now agreed that its in our garden. Apparently her solicitor had never heard of a determined boundary, but instead of taking the advice of our mediator who has 40 years experience of them, she dragged it out for as long as possible at a considerable cost to our neighbour. Once the fence has been moved we will then request that she pays our costs. That won't go down well, but if she'd been reasonable in the first place we'd have probably paid half towards her fence. Ill update on the decking once we've sorted the fence. Thanks for the interest 🙂2 -

That is a still from the video of Seance-gate. That went on for about an hour. As the pentagram was painted in gloss it was visible for about 3 weeks. It ended with a fire being lit in the middle. Her lawn still has burn marks on it. Stupid is as stupid does x
Is the decking simply a bit of astroturf on top of an extension's flat roof?1 -

I didn't explain it right, our houses are upside down, that photo was taken from our livingroom. Our bedrooms are downstairs, thats how she can see into every room. Our gardens slope away steeply. She had decking and a pool outside of her bedroom door, but just before we moved in she had the decking extended out another 3 foot and as we are on a slope the extra 3 foot is higher than the fence. We had no problem with this when we moved in as there was a 6ft fence on her deck. In January she removed the fence and decked over her pool. She can now sit on her decking and see us lying in bed, in both bedrooms. She had views across the bottom of our garden and beyond when the fence was up, not a problem, but the only view she has gained since removing her fence is into our bedrooms.0 -

OH says this is crazy, possibly police stuff.
I maintain, this is neighbours garden, they can draw whatever they want- pentagram, quadrilateral, hieroglyphics on their land.
OH: Hmmm, what about Nazi symbols?
Me: (ruminating over it) Well, if it is causing distress to other neighbours, then yes police stuff.
OH: Would this pentagram & frock clad jokers cause you distress?
Me: I don't believe in the occult, that doesn't mean it might not exist. I would be very uneasy if this happened in my neighbours garden and they already had a beef with me.

For what it's worth, you might want to take down the photo. Neighbours might recognise it, and might claim you're posting secretly-taken pics of their religious/spiritual ceremony. They sound like pieces of work, but this seems like something that might escalate things at no benefit to you (unlike e.g. going to the police)0

Gosh, I might have some psychological issues processing that, rather like the ones I used to have after a Victoria Wood TV Special!Do the neighbours really have a huge pile of rubble at the back of their garden, or is that Beelzebub emerging from the hellish depths?
