Hi im new to this.
Come up with some real anxiety. Coronavirus is making life difficult as it is.. I have 3 children of my own and a partner and ive been helping vulnerable friends i know who need shopping.. Iceland have a car park that have obviously got CCTV which  didnt get taken notice of as its not usual store but convenient at this time. The other stores dont have this. Company called EXCEL PARKING have my car on camera sent me 2 letters through fining £100 each if paid within 2 weeks £60 each. I really dont need this irrelevant stress. Parking charge notice notice to keeper on the letter. How do they know my name and address? I cant afford this and im genuinely shopping in the shop where car park is.. People have told me to ignore them but i dont want the fines to go really high and go court and make the situation worse.. Does this need to be paid as i know council ticket are most definitely a MUST pay. But private company? Help me please, anyone know of excel? This is kent south east area.. thanks

Don't ignore, Don't pay except and until told to by a judge after a court hearing.  First thing to do is complain to the store, second thing to do is to read the NEWBIE sticky on first page of the forum, that's why it is there, Third thing to do, if first thing fails, is to appeal to the Parking Company using the "One size fits all" text in blue.  Edit your post to preserve the anonymity of the driver.  Parking companies trawl these fora looking for just such a slip up.  Keepers have protection, Drivers do not.

in addition to the above good advice ...
when you complain to the store ... it must be the manager not customer services. and you should all so complain to Iceland head office CEO.

"People have to me to ignore them but i dont want the fines to go really high and go court and make the situation worse.."

you need new friends .... ask them if they will pay for you if you follow their advice to ignore :#
follow forum advice and you will be paying zero
