Plenty of overtime this week (22hours) plus a few clients from my self-employed business so looking good for next week!! Really looking forward to my day off on Sunday though!! Can't wait to do nothing 🤣2 -
You have something to show for all the extra hours!

Hello Anxious, totally fantastic news on the debt slaying, that you have OT and another job!!!! Wow you have so much energy. Well done you. Make sure you don't wear yourself out though with only one day off. I hope you can spend some time enjoying the good weather when we have it.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

Thanks everyone!! I do get plenty of time to rest too don't worry!! I'm a postie so I work until 2 then have the odd couple of personal training clients in the evenings. Obviously I've had to stop PTs during covid but now restrictions are eased I've started up again.
Bought some bits to make some cheese and bacon turnovers tomorrow. Turning into my "thing" and OH is more than happy to eat them lol.
Also had an eBay purchase turn up.. dvd of the TV series "Lillie". Not sure if anyone's watched it but it's a 1978(?) TV series about Lille Langtry (mistress of Edward VII). My mum and I used to watch it on video and loved it.2 -

Feeling so positive today!!
Just been checking my credit report and I managed to get 2 defaults removed so my score has gone up massively! Only 1 default on there now from around 2years ago. Also a lot of "settled" payday loans have dropped off with more disappearing in the next few months (apparently I went crazy for payday loans in 2014). I know you shouldn't take too much notice of the number but at the beginning of the year my score was 218.. it's now increased to 672!!
I've been plowing most of my money into savings at the moment. I know it won't be like that forever but at least while we can't do much during the pandemic I'm getting good buffers! Also keeping it there so I am able to make f&f on last 2 debts if need be.

I think 2014 was a bad year for a lot of us! Your finances are looking good.
Have a great day!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
Only one debt remaining (except credit card which I use for food and has been paid off in full 2months running)
Just started weekly online food shop after various offers through hello fresh for the last 9weeks. Aiming to keep it around 35-40 a week. First week was 45 but we did buy a lot of things that will last (sauces, tinned good etc). This week £36.
Got a great deal from a local butcher on chicken. £12 and I've bagged up and froze 28 portions from it.
Big 3-0 this week. So thankful to be where I am atm financially and emotionally after a long time.2
