  • Did a survey on prolific yesterday that was £1.25 plus bonus payment depending on decisions.... Just got credited the bonus.. £15!! I'm shocked I was only expecting £1 or less

  • Just found out I will be getting a £200 covid19 bonus from work next month. Also been given the opportunity to work an extra 5 or 10 hours overtime a week but tbh I'm knackered and am concerned I'm burning the candle at both ends. It also puts me more at risk of covid19 as I may be more likely to be in contact with someone that has it. Decisions decisions...

It's fantastic that you are getting a covid bonus. You have undertaken a valuable role during this and I am glad your employer is recognising this. Don't rush into offering to do this extra time think about it and go with your gut instinct. Your life is important. It is Friday hurrah. I am so glad.

  • TGIF!! Just been playing some online poker on video chat with friends (not for real money) so we had a few drinks and a laugh. Looking forward to social distancing with a friend tomorrow. Nice to see a familiar face that doesn't live/work with me.

  • Paid a little more off my CC today.

Went and saw a friend today. Sat outside her house (2m apart) for a couple of hours in the sun. Was nice to feel some kind of normal. Little bit burnt now though!!

So many nice houses on Rightmove at the moment.. just teasing myself by looking at them. When the time is right I'm sure we will find our perfect one.

You have to look, how else will you be able to decide what is a priority in a home and what you are not fussed about!

Hopefully you've nice weather all week as fresh air and sun makes a nice change.

Got some money from my partner today that I'd been putting aside for a holiday that's no longer happening. Hoping to use it with this week's pay to clear my CC and TM Legal.

Still going to keep my CC and just use it for food paying it off in full each month. Partly want to do this to track our food spends and partly as i don't have a lot of credit in my name so hoping it will help.

In other news I've applied for a temporary increase in hours at work (28 to 35hours) which if I get it will mean an extra £60 a week in my pocket. It's a 6month contract which should take my up to Xmas period where we always get made up to full time hours across then (38hours). Hopefully by the time that's all over they will have space to keep me on full time.

OH bday next week.. I was debating making a cake but the fact I bought plain flour instead of self raising should tell me it's going to be a disaster and to buy a ready made one 🤣

Keep the CC and it will help you build your new credit history.

Congratulations on the extra hours, it all helps!

Add bicarb and baking powder into plain flour to make it into self raising. Look online for amounts 🤗
