This morning my first email is from them saying the refund is being processed and should be with me in the next 14 days. I guess they are having to process the refund in waves. I'm with Admiral.5

Morning all
I have had the busiest work week since lockdown began I think. Loads of online meetings, online training, teaching yesterday, resource prepping on top of teaching dd about nutrients in food for her food tech assignment, and teaching ds about WW2 for his school work. It's gone by so quickly and I can't believe it's the weekend again already. I'm tired this morning, and not sure why because I was in bed by 10 last night - don't feel rested at all.
So pleased the missing cat turned up HK - they know how to stress us out don't they?
Today's plans:
Less than 1 hour of school work
Reading
Crochet
Walk with the kids (or two walks if need be)
Tidy the kitchen
1 load of washing
That will do - I think the kitchen tidying is going to be the one I avoid the most.
Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

@PurpleFairy26 my dog was sick on the edge of the rug / wooden floor in the lounge this morning first thing, so I too have been disinfecting things. Just what I didn't need at 5.07 am! Anyway, all done now, took the scamp for a walk, kitchen clean up etc and I have spent most of the rest of the time in the garden, tidying and planting things out. Still got some to do, but might save that for tomorrow. We had a bit of warm sunshine this morning, but it is dull, chilly and windy again now, and I have put my big cardi back on over my fleece. I will be lighting the stove later if it doesn't warm up. Cheaper than having the heating on.I have picked some spinach and some small spring onions that must have been missed last year (maybe the seed germinated late... or something, though I don't remember sowing any where these came from) so I need to wash them and put them ready for use. I must also cut more salad leaves, and see if anything else needs watering. Not sure what I am doing for dinner tonight (meal planning fail) but it will be something I already have. Hope everyone is having a nice day, as far as possible.5

Yesterday was productive but didn’t do much from my list so today is a bit ground hog ish (aren’t they all these days!)
I checked my car insurance and it said I should hear by the end of May so still a couple of weeks. It was bright and sunny yesterday morning but by the time the second load of washing went out it was dull so I stopped after another quick wash as I didn’t want wet washing in the house when the forecast is fine today. 1 old done overnight and another load in now. Will hang outs shortly. Other things:
more decorating - did some yesterday and making good progress- still lots to do so may be appearing for a while!
compare house insurance
something easy for tea off the planner so I don’t spend ages on the kitchen
language practice
less time online
knit
A run
a long soak in the bath - use your some more products
intend to get some downtime today as it is the weekend!Have a good day all. Purps.4 -
Morning, just a few odd jobs today as yesterday was really busy:
* pay car road tax
* finish cleaning the kitchen - although I cut my finger quite badly this morning so we shall see
* top up kitty litter - DONE
* check banking, check budget - DONE
* read 1 chapter of new book, Atomic Habits
* Start an MSE diary again - been very anxious to do this
* cook lunch/supper - IN PROGESS
That’s it for me, have a good day
