Morning everyone
I have to say i'm another one who is finding time to be going so fast.
More diy touch ups. Do a few bits a day. The decorator came in and did the hall, stairs and landing before Christmas. I know its bec i can't do it myself, DD calls me picky but have just been touching up bits ive not been happy with and its abit of escape from reality. Plus there is one part that the wheelchair always catches, that will always need touching up every month. Never really been confident with a paintbrush due to being so disaster prone but im actually enjoying myself and found myself doing extra bits. Fixed DD doorhandle last night aswell.
Took part in a zoom quiz with one of my sports clubs last night, had a great time.
With another club we have entered a virtual national competition. One of our juniors got us thru to the next round.....must pracrice as im doing the next round
Food planning still going well. We've decided to have a take out Sunday roast today with crumble, to support one of the local pubs trying to stay afloat and its a celebration/treat of DD completing the end of her degree.
Off to do cat cleaning and abit more touch up work.
Might have 'A Touch of Frost' episode treat tonight. Im coming to the end so have been on a strict ration of episodes. That was the plan with The Crown-ended up binge watching that!
Have a good day everyone x

Morning allCongrats to @Happy_Kitties DD on completing her degree
What is she planning to do next? Not easy at the moment with the situation as it is.
Up early for usual dog walk. It is now warmer overnight / early mornings and forecast to continue so, thank goodness! Didn't like those frosts.So far I have made a slow start, cleaned up the kitchen and put a no doubt inauthentic Spanish style casserole in the SC for later, with onions, garlic, chorizo, chicken thighs, tomatoes, peppers, white wine and stock, with a pinch of chilli flakes and another of dried oregano. Later I shall add a tin of cannelini beans and the rest of a lurking jar of olives from the fridge. It smells good already, and as there were 7 chicken thighs in the pack, it will probably be enough for 3 main meals for the two of us, with fairly generous accompaniments. I will do a tray of roasted veg today (fridge clear out) and maybe have some with couscous tomorrow. Very inauthentic, now I have written it downbut uses up lots of bits and pieces to make a big pot of food. I don't like having to cook a main meal every day, it makes more sense to make a batch. And if we want to eat something different the next day, it can always be frozen for another time.
I intend to get back out into the garden shortly, to do more tidying / planting out. I am hoping that the plants that are currently on the conservatory table will then fit into the greenhouse1 -
Hi guys
just finally caught up with all your antics over the week! I'm about to do a online history course I've signed up to
HK I can't believe it's been 3 years since your dd went to uni! Wow how time flies!
La E is it really feasible your could work from home 100% and even be far away from your work base? If it is the world is your lobster then my friend! I can see I will be wanting to wfh much more after the world returns
Dawn do you think it's safe to plant out now? I've looked at the forecast and lowest prediction is 10 and average is 13 overnight for the next 2 weeks. Be good to get some bit to the allotment
I've done some cleaning while oh was readying madam her story so the ds is now spic and span and floors been mopped. I saw a tip that best time to vacuum during lockdown if you have kids is just before they go to bed. Does look and feel much more orderly now!DF as at 30/12/16

You've all put me to shame today, we've barely done anything!
We went for a couple of little walks, did a facetime chat with my folks (which lasted 3hrs!! was lovely though) and we've had leftovers from the fridge.
I better be productive tomorrow!!Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

Morning, an early start for me, though very rarely a productive one. I use the time to enjoy a quiet coffee and check banking, MSE, emails. So plan for the day:
* Work of course - hopefully not too heavy a day.
* Meal from stores, what I am not yet sure.
* Do an hour on my excel online course
* Do 30 min on my online Intro to Bookkeeping Course from Open Uni - there are loads of free courses to do, ranging between 8 and 24 hours in length.
* Try to keep the kitchen clean today.
* Check Banking - Done
* Update Budget - Done
