Told my boss I can’t cope and he told me to take annual leave

What is it your colleagues do that you can't cope with? It might help us if you answer this question.

Ultimately the workplace isn’t suited and I’m making waves to leave, but ultimately they are paying me, I’m doing work, so perhaps I should just leave it.
Unfortunately that's the nature of the work place. Many people simply turn up , do their job efficiently, and keep tight lipped. As earning a living is what matters. Find outside interests to relieve the stress. Not least plenty of walking which is extremely good for ones mental health. Your boss most likely has many challenges at the moment. Individuals making waves aren't likely to be high up their agenda. People are expendable. There's always someone else looking for work.

I also don’t appreciate being bullied as well - which imo was what was happening. But I can’t get into specifics.

Yeah you are right. If he can’t be bothered to manage me I will just be at home at not work hard. He doesn’t check so it doesn’t matter.

Rather than being such a snowflake, getting melodramatic and throwing tantrums just because your line-manager doesn't have cosy chats & cups of coffee with you, and make you feel all special & cherished...

Why don't you just focus on doing the job you're employed to do,
And stop sticking your nose into/caring about what your colleagues think/feel about their own personal situations?
Rolls eyes. I do the job I’m employed to do. I don’t get employed to have constant stress from work colleagues nor their hitching about their employer - excluding team emails trying to get me involved. But hey you know so much about my job.

Then you need to follow your Company's HR policy. If there isn't one. Seek external advice.

My boss to actually do something when I’ve told him I can’t cope. Why would I take annual leave to sit on my !!!!!! and do nothing.

At the same time I can get full pay for three months, to back to work for 5 hours and the cycle can start again.

So what doesn’t he want me to do?
What is it that you want him to do, and what’s the actual issue? If the job just beyond what you are capable of.

It all sounds rather petty? Can you not just ignore them and focus on your own work. You should be mature enough not to engage in discussions you don't want to.
I wish I could. But how are you supposed to concentrate when she’s sitting next to you. My boss also encourages her to escalate issues that are mole hills. She’s started to Cc me into emails of disputes she’s having that don’t concern me.

I wish I could ignore them but when someone is right next to you and you can’t move... I also can’t put on my headphones as my boss said no. So be started to walk of for 10 mins which doesn’t help.
I focus on my own work and don’t get involved.
  • @Autumn868 I can’t quote for some reason. I get on with my work and don’t get involved in their chats. I do the best work and I’m saying that I can’t cope because it’s a constant stream of stress. Literally every week it’s drama and the constant bitching about everyone in the company is annoying. Lack of goals, 121s or even support in CV.
