Seems like he is gibing you 3 options
    1. go sick with Dr's note
    2. take holiday
    3. contact the metal health team

What actually is it that you want?

    No no option
    4) hey you are a valuable member of the team so shall we catch up in a few days and talk about things?

At the same time I can get full pay for three months, to back to work for 5 hours and the cycle can start again.

I think that pretty much sums up the attitude of the person. The boss is probably not to overly keen to help. On the other hand what have you suggest to the boss? The other person could be saying the same to the boss so he does not have a clue what to do.
If it summed up my attitude wouldn’t I just do it instead of making a post on here? Wouldn’t I just give the sick note to my boss instead of saying twice “hey I’m struggling”.

What is it your colleagues do that you can't cope with? It might help us if you answer this question.

I’ve told my boss I can’t cope with my colleagues (this was before CV) and recently I told him I can’t cope and need time of work.

He said I can take annual leave or get a sick note from the doctor. He’s given me the email address of a mental first aider at work, who aren’t medical doctors and have had little training.

What should I do - tell his boss he’s not managing the situation?
"Can't cope" is pretty vague. Communicate in writing (e-mail is fine) and be specific about what is wrong in your work environment and working relationships.

How do you want your boss to manage your request for time off? They are correct that taking annual leave or sick leave are the two ways that can be achieved.

So who do I approach? Because my doctor will literally keep on signing of sick notes because they can’t offer help.

My annual leave will run out and when we go back to the office what do I do?

Should I be saying to my boss that I feel he should be doing more to manage people/just myself? I’ve not had a 1:2:1 for six months (should be monthly). Our time away from our desks would be noted if I wanted to chat about issues I had (before CV).

Why can't you cope with your colleagues? Is it something HR can help you with?
All he needs to do is be a bit proactive and check in with me from time to time. He does nothing when I ask him to. I’ve not had a 1:2:1 since the new year and he never calls me. CV has made everything worse because it’s a new issue that my work colleagues have to spend time on - getting irate because their employer is making them use their own electricity lol.

Paying for electricity but savings on commuting. Could be a nett gain

Constant mountain out of mole hills. I don’t want to be too specific as it could backfire. Constant moaning about their employer and lack of goals/motivation/leadership. Eg when I started I wasn’t given direction of what to do, no training and manager went on holiday for two weeks lol.

Ultimately the workplace isn’t suited and I’m making waves to leave, but ultimately they are paying me, I’m doing work, so perhaps I should just leave it. Would he easy just to keep my house tidy and do minimal work lol

He doesn’t drive and misses the social aspect of work - which is fine. Just don’t start blaming your employer when they are keeping you and your loved ones safe at home. When the office reopens we will be going back in.

Unfortunately that's the nature of the work place. Many people simply turn up , do their job efficiently, and keep tight lipped. As earning a living is what matters. Find outside interests to relieve the stress. Not least plenty of walking which is extremely good for ones mental health. Your boss most likely has many challenges at the moment. Individuals making waves aren't likely to be high up their agenda. People are expendable. There's always someone else looking for work.
